I took my children on a surprise trip to the snow today. We went to the Seirra National Forest and Shaver Lake for the frist time . It was beautiful, the snow mounds were amazing, our frist time in the snow like that. Yet, the Office manager of this hotel (Musik Creek Inn) ruined my day. After having so much fun we decided to stay the night. I called and she stated there was a room open. Yet when I told her It was 1 adult and 3 children, she said "No I don't have a room for you!" Why I asked, "She told me its the policy not to have that many people in one room!" Shocked and upset I said " what do you expect me to put my children in different rooms alone?" She got very rude yelled at me then hung up the phone! A room available for the night yet, a single mother of 3 is not allowed to stay. I had to drive back down the mountain, in the dark with cold, wet children. Whatever happen to customer service in this world!
