T-Como Motel, Forsyth

T Como was filthy. The bed sheets came with Cheerios cereal. The pillow cases appeared dirty--they were old , nobby, dingy and thin. The mattresses had to be from the 50's--yellowed, dusty, etc. Plywood sheet was used between the mattresses. I was afraid to look under the bed. Roaches lived in the desk drawer--visibly. The refrigerator came complete with left overs. The coffee pot was moldy. A large spider joined me in the shower. The bathroom floor around the toilet was dirty. The toilet itself was dirty under the lid, behind the seat and at the floor. The carpet had piles of dirt around the edges. It was raining out--we stayed only because we didn't have a tent and it was the only place available within miles. The lights and air conditioner worked. We tried to cancel the 2nd day reservation at 8 a.m. the day of the reservation and was denied. Manager stated "No refunds." The price was cheap--I expected a fisherman's cabin, but not a roach motel. We still can't believe we even stayed!
