Cottonwood Lodge, Eagle Nest

This was my 4th year to return. The owners are fabulous. The place is always clean. Perfect for our needs. We like the location. We needed to grill and the owners set up a grill outside. We loved it.

This is fantastic place to visit! I have never found such a clean and roomy place. The owners were very accommodating and friendly. They made sure that we had everything we needed and even gave us some ideas on where to visit in the area for entertainment. I would recommend them for all future stays!

Dont stay here, they suck bad. They were rude, crude, and unrooly! The place stinks, bad, dont know why, but they are total slobs. And worse of all they wouldnt leave me and my husband alone about buying a house up there! They dont seem to know what NO means!

They are realtors and have stuff for sale in the shop, all they did was try to sell us land or their crap! They wouldnt give us one moment of peace to enjoy. The rooms sucked and the prices were totally unfair. Dont stay here unless you want to get ripped off!!

We came in for an Elk Hunt and the Jones were very accomodating. Allowed us to leave early once we bagged our limit. Judy even washed clothes for us and Fred got up early to help us get our gear the morning of our departure. I plan to stay here next time we come hunting. Rooms were very clean and cozy. Close to everything in Eagle Nest.

Fred and Judy Jones make this hotel a really classy place to stay. They care about their guests and do everything to make your stay extra special. They are available to answer questions, make suggestions for day trips and help in every way. The rooms and bedding are fresh and clean. A great bargain for your money. The mountain views and starry night skies are unbelievable!
