Riverside Resort Camp & Canoe, Mammoth Spring

Great place for kids to swim. Excellent fishing spot. Didnt like the fact of a drunk guy on a raft floating on the bank all day dropping the f-bomb this and f-bomb that infront of all the kids and right infront of one of the security personal. He could of ask him to pls not be talking like that infront of the kids, but other that that it was a great place to go swim,fish,or just hangout to have a good time.

We have vacationed at Riverside Resort for 8 years now. The staff just can't be beat. It is by far the cleanest place on the Spring River. And we very much appreciate the security that works to keep all the inappropriate behavior away from those of us that don't like to be disturbed in the middle of the night. I would encourage anyone to stay at Riverside. If you do, you won't ever stay anywhere else!!!

We stayed at Riverside Resort for a weekend float. Spring River is a great float, with beautiful scenery, rapids, and plenty of friendly people. Riverside Resort is a complete joke! Trains go by every 22 minutes blowing their whistles (even through the night), yet we were talking too loudly while sitting at our campfire. Security would "stalk" our campsite, coming up from behind our RV's in the dark, and shine flashlights in our faces...just to tell us to turn down a radio, or lower our voices. We heard them bragging to nearby campers about how many people they'd kicked out the previous weekend. They will tell you to leave with no provocation & your camping fees are nonrefundable. Their is a much better way to approach a group & ask them to lower voices. Many other campers were approached in this same disrespectful way. Our large group makes this trip every year...we will never return to Riverside Resort.
