Wildcat Shoals Resort, Flippin

What a beautiful spot on the White River! Stayed at WildCat Shoals recently with a group of friends. We didn’t end up doing much fishing (which I realize is one of the resort's greatest attractions) so I can’t say much about that. However, I can say it was incredibly quiet and relaxing and a great place to get away from it all. Cabins were clean, roomy and well appointed (nice to have the in-suite kitchen.) Lots of clean towels and free ice. Resort owners Mike and Phyllis were incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely plan on a return trip next year!

Wildcat Shoals Resort is a very comfortable, beautiful place to go and relax. I don't fish, but from the other guests it looks like the trout fishing is really good. I've been going there for 20 years and always want to stay longer. The addition of new cleaning and maintenance staff a couple of years ago have made it even better. The owners are enjoyable, friendly and very knowledgeable about great stuff to do in the area. I can't wait to go again next year!

Have gone to this resort if you can call it that for many many years and yes I'm going back this year also. The fishing is bar none the best trout fishing there is. The rooms leave a lot to be desired, but they don't cost a lot. the boats are also rundown but functional. The solitude at this place is priceless. This is a place for fishermen not families. No pool, game rooms, shopping ect...
