Don't Look Forward to the Jacuzzi!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/06
My fiance and I ended up staying here because we got a deal on another site for four nights at $200. We looked at the pictures of the rooms beforehand and while the decor looked a bit outdated, we were excited about having a kitchen/living room and a private jacuzzi tub in the bathroom. (The jacuzzi tub was one of our bigger reasons for choosing this location.)
The rooms were well kept. (We stayed in a single suite.) The jacuzzi was huge and I was happy as could be until we actually ran the water for the jacuzzi. I read a review that mentioned that the water was brown, and that was back in October 2005. Apparently that problem hadn't been fixed. The cold water was fine, but the hot water was definitely brownish and cloudy and I wasn't about to soak in the tub when the water was that color. I couldn't take a long or really hot shower because I knew the water wasn't the cleanest.
Also, we had people above us and it sounded like they were stomping around everytime they walked across the floor. They could have been heavy walkers and probably were, but the floors seemed ridiculously thin since we could basically track their every move through their suite. If you're a light sleeper, the single suites probably won't work because I think they're all located on the bottom floors.
No comments on the skiing since we were up in May and weren't there for any of the mountain activities. Even though it was a good deal, I wouldn't go back.
