Loved condo, hated presentation
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/29/09
The condo was very nice and we enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to many restaurants and was not too far from the strip. The pool was very nice. I would recommend it to others with one warning. We were asked to attend a sales presentation and promised free gifts as well as a discount on show tickets in Vegas. This presentation was to last ninety minutes. We did get a discount on the tickets but later found they could be bought on the strip for about the same price. We were there for way over two hours and actually wasted half a day of our vacation time dealing with this. The great lunch we were promised was a cold sandwich and a cookie. The person doing our presentation would not allow us to leave our seat even to get a refill of drink. We asked for our promised free gift and were told that the gift was the opportunity to buy these "discount tickets". Go, enjoy the Cliffs at Peace Canyon but don't waste time on their sales gimmick!

Amazing!
This hotel was like staying in a friend's private condo. It was so beautiful and quiet. The location is away from the strip but near many shopping and dining establishments. It was one of the nicest places I have stayed. The bed was soft and comfortable. The condo even had a full kitchen with all the equiptment and a washer and dryer. It was wonderful. I would stay there again, but longer!

We'll go back, but...
By JosephJ, 4/14/08
Rooms are very dated, heavy, dark furnishings and window coverings. Comfortable enough though. Parking is well lighted and plentiful. Pool area is definately the "highlight"! Very nice, and we spent many pleasant hours there. Pool is advertised to be 83 degrees, but is much cooler than that. Spa is excellent though. We were a bit disappointed in the maintenace however. High-end gas BBG's are furnished in the pool complex, but of the four provided, only two were functioning properly (not sure why this isn't rectified?). Upon arriving we found a dirty towel on the sofa and a couple dirty hand towels in the bathroom, probably an anomaly, but not a good first impression. Took a couple tries to finally get a TV remote replaced. Message light on the phones do not function, so better check messages frequently. I am concerned that the GFI's are not wired correctly, but maintenance didn't seem concerned. My advice, be careful. Even though this resort is miles from the "Strip" (part of its allure), you'll discover that the 215 freeway makes access very painless and relatively quick (especially to/from the airport). You're only minutes from Red Rock Canyon, so make sure you visit!!! All in all, we will stay here again. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Very convenient and confortable place!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
beatiful kitchen and breakfast bar. Very convenient separate rooms and huge living room to wait wake up family hour after a "dangerous" night: It is nice to have a swiming pool and games area while the rest of the family is ready to got to the Strip

Easy & Relaxed
By VALERIE, 7/21/07
Six members of our family ranging from age 86 to 13 stayed a week at the Cliffs. While the decorating and maintenance of the actual condo left a bit to be desired, for the price it was a very nice place. The common areas were well maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. At one point we needed to rent a wheelchair for my father and they had them on-site! They were also terrific at recommending local resteraunts and other amenities. We especially appreciated and used the shuttle service to the strip. It saved having to rent a car and all the hassle of driving and parking. We also got good use out of the pool and internet room.

Loved It!
By matthew c, 2/16/07
We own a time share at the Cliffs and we used it for the first time in 2006. We are going back in 2007 but it is full and we are very disappointed. We really enjoyed the stay last time. The 2 bedroom rooms are very large and clean. We actually liked not being right on the strip, it gave us some time to get away from the craziness!! The ride took us about 15-20 to get to the strip which really wasn't bad. There are many grocery stores and restaurants in the immediate area and a large shopping plaza very close by. Over all we wish we were staying there this year!!!

First visit - don't plan on returning to L.V.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/19/06
Post a resort review for The Cliffs at Peace Canyon 7/19/2006 Lyn---4 of us (adults) stayed in a 2-bedrm unit. Decorated attractively but chairs in living room were uncomfortable. Best feature- the 2 bedrms, though small, were separated by the living areas making them private from each other. The bathrms weren't as efficient as they could have been if the vanity/sinks were outside the shower/toilet area. The kitchen was nice & laundry contained full-sized w/d. Pool was too small for the community of buildings & appeared dirty---grease slick floating on top (sun tan oil?). Plus, there were not enough lounge chairs. Jacuzzi was too warm the night we used it & had enough chlorine to make your eyes water even if you sat 3' above it. The housekeeping staff does not speak/understand English. "The Cliffs" requires you to do the dishes & strip the beds on departure day. Kinda' tough if you're in a rush.
