Nice but
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/16/10
We have stayed at the resort twice and it's beautiful. But both times there was construction going on and they were painting the outside of our building.I opened the door and their was tape around our door and cloths on the floor. They were pressure washing too and had water spots all over our new car. They did move us with no problems I did not want my 5 month old smelling the paint fumes. I will go back but make sure there is no construction.

We can't wait to go back!

Best resort we have stayed in so far. The rooms were big, and the service was outstanding. They even helped us when the back door in our SUV did not open. They made every detail count for a fun family vacation. We will be back!

Wonderful resort & location!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/09
Loved the beautiful resort and spaciousness of the rooms. Great staff always willing to make sure your stay is perfect. When I called to ask about the activities the resort offered, a list was immediately brought to my room. When I stopped a staff person to ask if they had more detergent for the diswasher, he immediately went to a supply room and delivered it to my room. Wow, such a responsive staff that actually were happy to serve you with a smile! Kids loved the pools, water spray park, and the kid activities especially the bird presentation from Parrot Mountain. The presenter was very entertaining and happy to let you take pictures of your children holding the birds or posing with birds on their heads for a donation to a foundation! This was our kids favorite memory of our vacation and it was free. Also noticed where you check in they had some stuffed bears for sale for only $5, great affordable souveniers to take home (if you don't see them, ask about them). Close to Walmart and any activities of Pigeon Forge and still not too far away from Gatlinburg. We saw a very friendly bear and her 3 cubs on the Roaring Forks motor trail in Gatlinburg that was happy to eat berries and content to let us take all the pictures we wanted. With 3 young children, we stayed on the first floor, did not have a fantastic view from the patio but really did not matter. Being across from the water spray park and close to the pools was worth giving up the view and we were just happy to know that every time our children ran across the floor were did not bother anyone. We did not hear anything from the neighboring units. Can't wait to visit again!

Loved it!
By Sarah, 08/11/08
We loved the spaciness of the rooms! We also loved the fact that since we had kids (they asked at check in) they put us close to the pool, park and splash pad. Truly a beautiful place. The only think I would complain about is not having enough parking spaces for our condo, and also the walls are a little thin. I would highly recommend!

Nice location, but....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/17/08
Location of resort is great, on the outskirts of Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, but the rooms are in dire need of updating. We are Wyndham owners (not here, at another location) and we were VERY disappointed in the unit. It was set up EXACTLY like the units at Pagosa Springs, Colorado where we stayed in May 2007, but with no coffee table or 2nd end table to the couch. The bedding was the WORST of the dozen or more Wyndham resorts we have stayed at. There was no fiberfill pillow onsite to be found when I called and asked because I'm allergic to feathers. I waited after reporting this 3 times over 3 days before stopping at Walmart (just down the street) and buying one for $5. Guess they never heard of using petty cash to satisfy a customer! Then the mattress was long past the point of needing replaced. My back ached the whole week and the other side of the bed was no better. I would feel very ripped off if I was paying maintenance fees, because they are NOT maintaining these units well at all. Indoor pool was nice, but couldn't use the outdoor much, even at the end of May as it was much colder. But when you design your outdoor pool to be in the shade of the afternoon, that is what you get. This was at the registration/activities bldg., which are the original pools - the newer buildings on the hillside have the outdoor pool in view of the sun... if you wanted to hike up the hill to that building or wait for a shuttle! If they run their shuttles like I waited for good pillow, well, I'd still be waiting!
