Kero Mountain Resort, Sevierville

We stayed at the Dogwood Retreat cabin and loved every minute of it. The owners were super nice and it was so peaceful. We loved it so much we stayed over another night!!!!! We will be back!! The McAlister Family

There was nothing to dislike! We stayed at Hummingbird Hill! It was a most beautiful cabin and view of the pond and mountain! Nice and quiet, but not too far from P. Forge - No traffic noise. Pet friendly. Owners make you feel at home. Very nice. We are planning to go back next year!

We stayed in Bra' Ridge and had the best time ever....! Took our two dogs, that have never been to the country side so what an experience! The cabin was off by itself, very private Highly Recommended, we have been to this area a few times and stayed in other cabins and have to say one of the best visits we have ever had....! Stayed at the Dogwood retreat, Not attached to office as previously written in other review, was a little skeptical at first because of that review but I am happy I went any way. Very nice. Excellent views. Very Quiet. Loved the fire place. Was extremely impressed with the friendliness of the owners. Would come here over and over again.

We loved the solitude. Very Peaceful. Not your average cabin rental. They provide everything, linens, towels, disposables. Furniture is very comfortable and beds are great. Loved the views and the fishing and the hiking trails. Overall experience was wonderful. The women that own Kero are a joy and they even leave brownies in your cabin.

was very nice and very clean . Location was not what very good. Cabin ( dogwood retreat) is attached on to the office and owners home. Not very private. Felt like we had to walk on our tip toes the entire time. This is the only cabin on the property that was like this. The rest were off to there self. Just wasn't what we were wanting. They really should let you know when your renting that this cabin isn't really a cabin. It is more like staying at a motel. Very dissappointed.

Quiet, Peaceful off the beaten path. Nice views and a warm fireplace. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle this is the place for you. It is very clean with nice trails a pond and a mountain chapel. If you have a pet let them know they are pet friendly.

The owners were a delight and the resort was just what we were looking for. It is very clean and well maintained. Lovely views, trails, etc. Lots of privacy for quite rest, reflection and reading. There are only 6 cabins on 82 acres. This is a huge contrast to some developments in this area, where beautiful cabins are 30 feet apart. (so much for a mountain retreat!) You can tell that they have been at this for a while, as there are so many nice touches included in your stay. (great brownies!) It's also close to everything and outside of the horrible Sevier County traffic. We'll go back.

I have stayed here on three different occasions and thoroughly enjoyed each stay. When I tried to make a reservation a few years ago, the owner refused to rent to me because it was going to be me and my partner. I had always stayed there before as openly gay, as had many of my friends, but for some reason they decided to implement a policy of open discrimination and refused my reservation. I had not been a problem guest on any of the other three visits, but I suppose my money became a problem for them. If disciminatory practices are okay with you, then it's a great place, but if civil rights matter, then go somewhere else.

I have been 3 times to this mountain resort and have enjoyed it immensely. It is secluded, quite, peaceful, and relaxing w/ the view The cabins and the owners are wonderfull. It is close enough to Pigeon Forge,Gatlinburg and even Cherokee NC to enjoy shopping, parks, river rafting, and many other things, yet a few minutes away is this place where you can be woken by singing birds. The decks give you a panaromic view of the mountain, the trails are as difficult as you want them to be,and the lake is wonderful. With every cabin filled, you still fill like you are by yourself. Wonderfully romantic.
