This is the first place we have ever lived in together and I have to say we wouldn't be moving but we found a place we could not pass up. There is the option of a one or two bedroom place, the set up is GREAT because the only wall you share with your neighbor is the living room wall, there isn't anyone above you or below you. The ventilation isn't the best but it's not something that makes or breaks your bills. It is a perfect location because it's walking distance to NAU, grocery stores, movie theater, there is a car shop right down the road, and DPS. We lived in the units that were closest to the train and it didn't bother us. Office staff is great, the washers and dryers are okay but I know they are in the process of getting new ones.
I loved living at Millpond. The office staff at first was terrible but recently they have been awesome. They tended to any problems I had and the maintence was great also. If you are looking for a place in Flagstaff this is it!!!
I think that the only reason that Millpond stays so full is because it is one of the cheapest places in town. The management is rude, maintenance takes weeks for anything to get done, and pool is below freezing year round.
I love that the buildings aren't all smashed together and it feels like you have your own space.. but the people in the office are so rude and disrespectful, if I didn't have a lease I would have moved out by now. They don't answer phone calls and when they do everything is with an attitude. What happen to friendly sales people?
I hated the sound of the train every 15 minutes, dish washer never worked, walls are paper thin, drunks walking up and down the streets yelling at all hours of the night. The neighbors never seem to quit drinking, mostly because they're all students partying. Not enough parking space, no hook ups for washer and dryer, cabinets and drawers fall apart easily. During winter season, too cold. Summer to hot, the walls are so thin that you can feel the outside air.
They are nice apartments for the size and money. However, get ready to be turning up the volume on the television every time the train goes by which I might add is quite often. There are also drifters and the town drunks that seem to wander by your windows.. Very creepy!... Other than that it's a nice place!
what i liked about millpond is that, its fit for just the two of us.me and my husband, and when i looked at the room it was beautiful , i fell inlove with it even when we didnt have the money to get it. i just hope it isnt taken. toodles
