Great hotel at first, my wife and I spent three nights there. Had a wonderful time, thought the Spa and room were very nice for Romance Package. Unfortunately, the last night, my wife found a one inch long ROACH in the bathroom by her feet. Asked to speak with manager next morning, but was not available. Desk clerk gave us a $35.00 credit on bill for our troubles with
the roach. My wife and I were very insulted with the resolution of the bug problem and will never return. I guess the hotels reputation on cleanliness and having a bug problem is only worth $35.00....
I have stayed at Sedona Rouge about 8 times. I am always amazed that I'm not remembered. Staff at front desk not always pleasant. The grounds are beautiful! The rooms are nice but have stains on carpet. Housekeeping not always good at replenishing things that have been used. The beds are always short sheeted!! Spa is very nice but pricey.
My husband and I were impressed all around with the entire stay. The hotel staff were simply excellent - they helped us plan several things to do and Robin really went the extra mile to find out what we were like and liked to do before making suggestions. Her suggestions ended up being perfect for us. We were very impressed with our room - it was spacious and also cozy. Bathroom was very spacious. Housekeepers were very nice friendly women that did an excellent job. We will definitely return.
The rooms were amazing.beautiful setting, amazing fireplace and jacuzzi..wonderful staff. the restaurant was absolutely to die for.We had a bit of problem with the reservations but they fixed it with no questions asked, even upgraded us with no extra charge. The complimentary spa use is fantastic.Wonderful place to relax. We cant wait to go back.
The hotel is actually well located. West Sedona is not far from the rest of Sedona. Someone mentioned that it was next to a Safeway but you would never know it unless you looked closely. It is a very nice looking hotel. Desk service was excellent. Rooms were very nice and very comfortable. The in room toiletries are excellent. The only gripe I could arrive at is that you do not have a great view of red rocks from the hotel. The value was okay and I would stay there again.
Reds, the restaurant had great food but VERY SLOW service. The spa had fantastic service and great therapists. ***** Had to wait 45 minutes at pool for towels - finally went to spa and got towels. Had to walk into the restaurant and get water (it was 95 degrees). Once pool service started, it was 40-45 per drink.
USA's best kept secret. With everything nearby this resort will make you feel like you are in a secluded location. Excellent staff, excellent service and very pleasing to the eye inside and out. Great place for that much needed getaway. Excellent for a romantic getaway, a girlfriend getaway or just to getaway solo or with a group. The only problem is that the beds are so comfortable you may want to stay in bed all day. But don't because you will miss out on the wonderful spa which provides the greatest treaments and services and also Reds which has a menu that would accommadate anyones palate. Red Rock at its best.
