There were things that I liked about this property, that is why we decided to purchase a vacation ownership there. The problem came when we actually stayed there.
It looked clean, seemed cozy and fun. When I put the kids in the jet tub, black stuff started floating in the water, chunks from out of the system perhaps! I got them out cleaned it really good, ran the jets through with soapy water and tried it again...looked ok so I got in the next morning. It was fine for about 3 or 4 minutes, when more chunky black things started coming out. I was pretty grossed out and ended up showering and still feeling yucky. Then, the kids wanted to play horseshoes (which the web site says they have) couldn't find a horse shoe pit. Went to the desk to tell them about the bathtub and asked where the horseshoes were, they replied there is none! Ok, well then, how about the game room? Once again, advertised on the site, but not really one. These are all things the kids had been excited about when we showed them the website and where we were going. They offered to move us to another room because of the bathtub but we were leaving the next morning so no point. It was just icky to begin with, moving wouldn't have helped that. My kids had already been in the nasty tub! So, beware before buying. There is a mini golf, but it is in ill repair. (fun anyway)
The pool was closed also for several weeks due to renovation perhaps, although when we returned there for a weekend stay a month of so later, nothing looked different.
Four+ miles south of Sedona. At night while sleeping with the window open, you can hear a cayote howl or the creek as it flows thru the units. In the a.m. the birds are your alarm clock. No town traffic here. As you drive toward Sedona for a great breakfast at the "coffee pot resturant" the view is awesome. There is a great resturant at the resort also. Exellent food and drink. The units are built on the order of a 30+ ft. motor home, the living room probably 12X 12. We stayed in a one BR. It was very clean, modern (granite tops in the kitchen & bath) and comfortable. There were activities every day plus beautiful (FREE) 18 hole miniature golf, large swimming pool all kept pristine clean.A perfect area to experience all Sedona and the surrounding area. Love it!!
