Horse Heaven Ranch, Talihina

My wife and I stayed in a beautiful spacious cabin which included everything except your groceries. We really enjoyed the trails, the campground, and the beautiful town. The cabins do have barns for the horses, also the campgrounds has campsites that are really nice, pens included. Also a shower house, arena, plenty of trails of all types to ride. This place is spectacular, you can bring your horses, or your motorcycles. The scenery is wonderful. I went in april and it was absolutley lovely, the facility is very clean. You must bring your own provisions but if you just want to get away from noise and city traffic, I suggest this place. Make sure your horses are prepared for the rough terrain if that is where you are going to ride. If not you can stay on the lower part of the resort. You will love it . For those that have RV's there is plenty of room to park your trailer and fifth wheel. They even have stalls for your horses. Call Elfie or Beverly to book your stay, you will not regret it.

Our family tries to go there every chance we get. We have been there in the Fall when the leaves are turning, in the Spring time when the flowers are starting to bloom...and all during the year and we love it. We love the service, the facilities and the people we meet. Can't wait to get back. We hope to spend Christmas there again.
