Cottonwood Hotel, Cottonwood

This was a beautiful little hotel charming though not sophistcated. My husband and I paid up front, as required for our 5 night stay. After the 3rd night we had an emergency with our family back home and asked for a partial refud. Karen became very nasty and refused to refund us even though we were willing to pay a penalty fee. Her lack of professionalism and rudeness will keep us from returning.

For a small historic hotel, this place offers more than I could have imagined. Definitely worth the time & money. Close to restaurants, wine tasting rooms, & pubs. Easy access to surrounding areas, like Jerome & Sedona.

Unique historic hotel. Much different than a traditional hotel/motel. Clean and homey decor, comfortable bed (we slept good). Here you get a cute little flat with much amenities. Fully stocked kitchen, internet access, hardwood floors, balcony, fantastic cafes, pubs, restaurants, hiking. Nice town, friendly people, shoppes, farmers market, everything within walking distance. Centrally located to Sedona, Jerome, Arizona in general. We will definitely stay here again. Reasonably priced for your own flat to have during a vacation to this area.

This is the first place I have ever stayed that had beautiful hardwood floors and real quilts on the bed. The room was charming, clean, well-furnished with everything you need if you decide to cook and not eat out so much. I really enjoyed my stay, and, of course, Karen was very nice and would go out of her way to make your stay more comfortable. I would recommend this place unless you are enamored with the lifeless, cookie cutter chain hotels that have no personality or charm, and cost more. It is also situated in a spot that is not far from many beautiful Arizona attractions, the Grand Canyon, the Painted Desert, Sedona, Route 66, to name a few. Plus, the hotel itself has some cool history. Don't miss it if you like really nice places to stay. Some would say that it would be miserably hot in Arizona in August, but I found it to be warm, of course, but it was not bad.
