R-Ranch in the Mountains, Dahlonega

The pool and lodge are beautiful. The cabins are atrocious. I have been going here for years. The lack of maintenance on the property and cabins is shameful. I brought my family to stay In one of the cabins and we had to leave. There were rodent droppings every where. The deck and cabin structure had been eaten by termites and carpenter bee. There was graffiti on the walls upstairs. When I opened the fridge a roach went running out.

I loved the staff. They are so accommodating, polite and it's a pleasure just chatting with them. R-Ranch has to be the most beautiful place I have ever seen. In the spring, summer, fall and winter it is just absolutely gorgeous. Michelle Colbert works so hard and she gets it done for you!!! All together the other owners and staff are just so welcoming and happy. It's a home away from home and they feel like family. I'm proud to be a part of R-Ranch.

The R Ranch is run down and unkept. and the staff is rude and uncaring. The cabins are dirty, I don't know what the cleaning staff are paid for. Even the rental cabins are dirty. You have to clean before you can unpack. The towels and sheets are threadbare. It's an embarressment to take guests there. I would never recommend ownership to anyone. The rules change constantly to accommodate a "special" few. The best thing I can say about the ranch is it's beautiful location. The clubhouse is lovely with a hugh pool which currently is shut down by the board of health. Shame on you!

The faculty is very beautiful for weddings and family reunions, however the staff doesn't care and the cabins are dirty. Some of the cabins just have mattresses thrown on the floor with no bedframes. I would never recommend anyone having wedding party or guests stay in these cabins. Also, their wedding coordinator is very unorganized and doesn't return calls. We complained to her manager and she didn't even return our phone calls.

Wow!! What a beautiful place for your dream wedding ...over looking the mountains.

The view, the horses and the friendly people. My family has been going for years...now my kids are grown and they bring their kids ..back to the Ranch to make more families memories.

I love the location. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I enjoy the horses, the camping, the cabins, the lodge and have hosted over 30 family members since we joined three months ago. The Church service on Sundays at the little Chapel on the hill is awesome and very much like "coming home to grandmas". Come see for yourself.

I have been an owner at the ranch for over ten years. It is a beautiful resort in the foothills of the mountains of North Ga. My family and I have always had a great time at the ranch. Every business has it's problems but the ones you have mentioned are not true. You should get your story straight before you make such awful comments. If you are interested in seeing the ranch ....that is what you should do. See for yourself its beauty and all it has to offer.
