Just say no

This was the worse place out of 14 different like advertised establishments we stayed at on a recent vacation. I couldn't tell if the staff was being rude or just stupid.

Wonderful Week!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/04/08
We exchanged a week to stay at Palm Canyon and had a wonderful time. I don't know if the staff has changed since some of the awful reviews that I read, but we found everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to be very helpful and responsive. Our room was clean and spacious and we loved the location. We liked it so much that we stayed an extra two nights, which the front desk graciously arranged for us. We found the diversity of the guests to be a welcome change to some of the "snottier" lcoations in Palm Springs. We never felt unsafe and enjoyed seeing the numerous families having such a wonderful time. Don't pass this resort up based on the negative reviews posted, try it for yourselves.

wonderful
By betty, 06/03/08
We arrived at our room and were very surprized at how great it was. It was clean and very spacious. We had a view of the beautiful pool/ waterfall area. Our grand-kids had so much fun on the slides, they didn't want to get out. The people were very nice. I heard a lady in the lobby complaining about their room. She said she was used to staying in higher class places. Well We loved it, and it was beautiful!!!!

I own but I hate to use Palm Canyon
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/07/08
This property was good years ago when we bought the timeshare. We went back for a visit and it was like thug city, I don't feel safe especially on the weekends. Management in my opinion has always been bad. You cannot get an answer from anyone. I had an easier time communicating and getting a response in Spain, France and Italy. At this point we just use PC to trade away to some other resort. We bought Marriott Time share cause we love Palm Springs

poor customer service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/08
having found this property available for weekend guests, I wanted to check the place out and see a room. I drove over to the property, went to the front desk, was told to go to sales, went to sales, nobody there, went back to the front desk and was told I could not see a sample room. The concierge person was too busy just sitting there to be of any help, and the desk clerk couldn't have cared less, talk about lazy and rude.

Monarch Grand Vacations - BAD DEAL
By Surita, 06/30/07
Monarch Grand Vacations gave us the worst vacation experience ever! We were invited for first time in Palm Springs and they made us stay at the Palm Mountain- roaches all over the bathroom in one room and cigarette smoke in the second! Poor customer service too! Word of advice- if you are trying to entice folks to be a member- at least make it look like you care! While waiting in the Palm Canyon Resort lobby for the presentation, noticed security guard was rude and hotel staff at front desk was mean- making fun of customers who were calling in with their complaints... Will go with Shell Vacations and tell everyone else to do the same!
