Goat Island Restaurant, Summerton

very nice people,good food ,small but nice rooms ,a good place for a fisherman

My husband and I drove down for the day and had a wonderful time. The restuarant is located right on the water and you can eat outside on their deck/patio. There really isn't that much for kids to do unless you rent a boat. It really is more of an adult atmosphere because it is so laid back. It wasn't any noisier and the food (which was really good) was average in comparrison to Myrlte Beach. My rating is based on a day's experience at the marina and the resturant, not an overnight's stay. This is NOT a fancy place, it is very laid back, clean, and friendly. People come in off the lake from their boats so the atmosphere is expected to be casual.
