This apartment building is in renovations! There are only blinds on the windows so turning out the bedroom light does no good to putting you in the dark. Very bright light comes through the blinds. We got very little sleep the night we stayed there. My husband lowered the living room blinds and they fell on him. Wrong hardware holding blinds up. While the apartment is nicely decorated and clean it was like spending the night in a model. It was sparsely furnished, and not comfortable. No suitcase racks so you have to put your suitcase on the bed to use it. I called earlier and was told they did have coffee in the office and that the apartment had a microwave. There was no microwave and although the sign said they opened at 8:00 am, we left at 8:50 am and they still were not open, so no coffee. There was construction tape outside the pool area, not attractive at all. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1! Saying this is a resort is a very very large stretch! Plus they charge a resort fee for a 1960's apartment building turned into condos.
The place is nicely located and has its charm. However it is great there are new owners in place as the previous owners had little regard for their guests. The regular visitors to El Dorado are wonderful people, very sociable.
