Carlsbad Seapointe Resort, Carlsbad

Staff is nice,units are clean, and very relaxing location. Now that they are a Hilton "affliated" resort, they making an effort to improve customer service.

This is a worst resort ever, the staff was very rude. If you book a room here, you have to make sure if it is available for sure especially just before you departure for the trip. Or else you will get a big suprise :( from the staff by saying that your room has maintaince problem and move to their other properties, which they called" a sister properties", but it's just look a Motel 6 to me when we have paid more than $200. This is a true experience from me and other cutomers arriving at the same day. The staff was even more rude by saying that this is the only room available at other properties and it's up to you if you take it or not, but no refund. However, the resort's cancellation policy have to be 7 days in advance if you want to cancell. But when it's come to their room having problem, why can't they do the same???. They will not call you a ahead of time or calling you the same day to inform you the problem about your room. This is a "scam resort" and this is where you will not like to stay even though they have a nice oean view. Believe me, I'm not sure why people don't tell honest stuff. But listen to my advice and make sure before you book a room wheras online or by telephone, make sure do more research. There are many other resorts out there that are much nicer and cleaner with the same prices, so it's up to you to make a decision :)
