Tybrisa at the Beach, Tybee Island

We had a fantanstic time staying at the Tybrisa. After reading the bad reviews, I was a bit leery about booking there, however, I figured the majority of people who write these reviews are those who were unhappy about their experience. In my opinion, the happy ones tend to forget to post their reviews. Having said that, I'll post my good review. Our condo on the second floor couldn't have been better! It was right across from the elevator, making the trip up to our condo easy on my mother in law. The condo itself was clean and fully equipped with everything we needed, even including laundry soap and trash bags. Our toaster didn't work properly, but was immediately replaced with a brand new one when I told them about it. We were given a free hair dryer (just ask them at the desk for one) and you can sign out all the DVD movies you want to watch for free. The grocery store is about 4 or 5 blocks up the street, so you can easily stock your frig. The condo was nice and cool in the June heat! From our balcony, the view overlooking the ocean was SPECTACULAR!!! The only drawbacks that I encountered were the limited parking spaces (you can get a spot but it's first come first serve on where you park under the condos. An easy solution would be for them to mark numbered spaces reserved for your condo.) Another issue was the pool was closed for a couple days while they fixed something on it. Would I come back and stay at Tybrisa again? You bet I would! Would I recommend it to you? You bet I would!

This place should not be able to operate. Well, at least not through RCI. This place is a dump for sure. building is in between some nasty places, dumpsters, bobbed wired fence, public restrooms, parking lot is the view from the balcony. STOP go some place other than here. I want you to really enjoy the places you vacation at. Not old smelly beds, rusty lamps, broken dining chairs- affraid to use the toilets in the places. Tybee Island itself is in question. Check things out before you go. Timeshare is not what it use to be. Some places are well maintained but things are now about 25-30 yrs old and have not been well managed in many places. Even though the owners pay the maintenance fees. SHAM. CHECK things out before you reserve.

We had a wonderful week at Tybrisa! The view was wonderful and the staff was very helpful. I found Toni to be nice, funny and very informative. No problems with her at all. The pool was great, the low country boil on Tuesday was yummy and a great way to meet some of the other guests. We can't wait until next year!

Everything was perfect about this place except for one person in the office named Toni who has a terrible attitude. She is a very impatient ill-tempered person who treats all guests and even owners terribly. Fortunately I wouldn't let her attitude disrupt a truly wonderful vacation. All the staff but Toni is truly wonderful.

My husband and myself really enjoyed Tybrisa Beach Resort. We own TIMESHARE and we really had a great time. IN fact we are trying to go back this year.

I would think twice before booking at this place. Online they look great, but in person.... well, you get the picture. I would make sure you had another place on standby.

The staff is great - very helpful and pleasant. The location is perfect. The beach there is better than Hilton Head. A short easy drive to the beautiful city of Savannah and some wonderful restaurants close by. The resort is right next to the pavillion where there is often something going on and you can walk out on the pier for a great view. Every unit has a view of the ocean. Units are well maintained and appointed. You can see the ships heading for Savannah from your balcony. The resort is being upgraded gradually and is very comfortable. We look forward to a visit to Tybrisa again.
