Ocean Inn And Suites, St Simons Island

Took my wife, to Saint Simons for a couple of days of fun and relaxation. Even in the midst of the Inn's rennovations our welcome and stay at the Ocean Inn was exceptional. From the caring and friendly staff to the well appointed rooms, made our stay, one of the best. Excellent surroundings and service coupled with being within easy walking distance to shops and restuarants, made it all that much better. The only disappointment was the lighthouse was under rennovation and turned off, for the first time since WWII, go figure. PS, adding a pop machine would be a nice inclusion.

The location was right downtown. Across from the light house. Walking distance to so many charming places. PERFECT. Served a little contintal breakfast. Warm, friendly and helpful service. The room was clean and very comfortable. The price was a little high. But the location you can't beat.

We loved everything about our stay here. No complaints. So convenient to everything on the island. The owners and their family were so gracious to provide us with anything we needed. The village is right out the door and our room over looked the lighthouse and village and ocean views were all great. The bed is high and pillows abundant. Great night sleep.

This inn is adorable. It has the charm of being small and family run like a B&B but still large enough that you have your privacy. The location is ideal right across the street from the park and only a block or so from the pier where we were able to see a lovely sunrise one morning. The patio off the lobby is very romantic at night because of the lighthouse being right across the street. The room was cozy. We stayed in the ADA accesible room. It is accesible but there is no roll in shower and no hand held shower head. The bed is a bit high for those that have trouble transfering but it was very comfortable. The decor was very nice and almost had a cottage feel to it with the large white shutters over the windows. The family that owns and runs it and all their staff were very helpful and nice. I would stay here again if in the area.

i had reserved a room with a sofa and a king size bed. they said they didn't have any left so they gave me a room with a king size bed and a queen size bed. which made the room very small and hard to walk around. the so-called breakfast they served was microwaveable eggs and sausage...discusting!!! the ambiance of the hotel was very nice though.

We loved everything about it! We come down with ecoli and the owner was so kind to us and all the staff was so wonderful, great place for a honeymoon and Hope to be there in a few weeks with some friends, My husband is back in iraq and I am taking a trip back and I wouldnt think of going any where but here

My stay at Ocean Inn Suites from February 9 to Feb 11 2007 was wonderful . . The ocean view room was very nice, clean, warm and welcoming, had everything I needed. Inn Hostess was pleasant, cheerful, thoughtful and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good, the location was perfect, just what I wanted for convenient shopping, visiting friends, & enjoying the pier. I'll be back and highly recommend the Inns accommodations to others. Sincerely Mary Daniels

You get the feeling that you are staying in a millionaires mansion. The exquisite tiled and rosewood floors coupled with the marbled walls creates an ambiance of elegance and comfort found only in the largest of resorts,and yet this property is small, cozy and comfy.
