Poppy's Pointe, Buchanan Dam

Thank you! Debra and Barry you guys have put alot of work into this place. We like the rules of supervision especially in the pool area. Loved the game area, Karaoke nights, cook-outs you guys had planned for guest. There cabins not the Hilton Inn near the lake. The comforters smelled so clean. Thumbs Up! Can't wait to go back......... Dislikes how some guest fail to respect others cabin area. Not your fault!! Mike, Liz, and Jude S

I just wanted to extend a HUGE thank you from my family for our great weekend at our new favorite place...we didn't want to leave. Spots 6 and 7 were just what we needed to rest and relax! ...and our spot 5 cabana use was icing on the cake...loved the swing and lights...such peace! It is so refreshing to feel at home away from home in a well manicured and fun filled place! Your hospitality is top notch! Thanks thanks thanks...again! We made the reservation for Spring Break, it was great for the kids and for us as parents, too. We were informed of the pool being under construction and the fact that the lake was low when we made the reservation. It was too cold to swim!! The fact that the lake was low was a bif plus, walking the shore of the lake was a lot of fun. We will go back!!

What you think you are getting by the photo's is not what you will be getting. The cabin was awful, the lake is low, and the pool was under construction, which we were not told before making reservations. I would highly reccomend looking elsewhere if you are wanting a nice get away.

We are are winter Texans & we lile the location. The owners are very friendly & helpful.The cabin was fine for just the two uf us. It just makes a nice place for us to get away from the cold weather up north. There is a library just up the road, church nearby & a really fun country western dance hall close by.

Very nice family oriented park, quiet and very safe. The game room had lots of activities for the kids, the pool is gigantic but too cold this time of the year. The lake was about 8' low but we had fun walking the shore looking for arrowheads. We're thinking about leaving our RV there year round and going every chance we get.

Poppy's Pointe is the most awsome place to take a vacation with your kids, relax and have a great time. The pool is big and clean, grounds are always clean and everybody is so friendly. Even when the water is low I still have a great time there.

This was the best family vacation spot. They had something for everyone, the kids loved playing chess. LOL. the best part was the water trampoline, and the people there were really nice and keeped the place really clean. We are going to make this our place. Thanks for a great time

The park was very clean and the cabins were very well kept. We brought our children with their bicycles and they had a blast riding all over the park. It was very safe. The pool was in perfect shap. The new owners have really outdone themselves. We highly recommend this park to anyone.

We were supposed to have a cabin on the waterfront...the lake was down, & the waterfront was 100 yds away! No one said anything about this when we made the reservation. The cabin smelled (liked the drain was backed up) The office was dark. The whole experience was awful!
