LOVED C204
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/30/09
Loved the entire condo-so much to do for the kids. Stayed in 204C and it was perfect! The decor was beautiful, light and beachy and decorated great. Would seek this one if available!

I'll never go back.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/19/09
This place was poorly managed especially on the security side. We was given the guidelines for the resort before we arrived and they changed them the first three days we where there. The security was rude and each one had his/her own agenda. Could not get the same answer on anything from any two people. I live in the lower Alabama area and stay in orange beach several times a year. Don't waste youre money at caribe. Three other people from my work have stayed there and all have had issues.

Awesome Resort!!
By Codi B, 04/02/08
I have stayed there only once, but you can view all the condos online and pick the one you want. They have 3 indoor pools, 3 huge outdoor tiered pools and 3 hot tubs in and 3 hot tubs outdoors at least!! They have zero entry pools with only like 1.5 feet of water for the kids and waterslides for the big kids. I must say the adults used it more than my kids! :) Once you're there you don't even have to leave!! The also have movie night and some other activities depending on when you go. They are currently building a restaurant on site which is great. Going for the 4th of July. Can't wait!!

Great Place
By chris, 12/08/07
I don't understand how anyone could complain about the Caribe. Sure, they do close the pool and weight room at 11pm but I understand thats for security and to keep the place quiet during sleeping hours. Our kids loved the new video game room and the extra 50 channels you get that you wouldn't get anywhere else on the island. Renters need to remember that all the rooms are decorated different and that owners have a different viewpoint on what is pleasant on the eyes. Sometimes the Caribe will rent units without knowing what the owner is doing in the unit. Sometimes the owners may be upgrading or fixing something that was broke by a past renter. Besides, you shouldn't be in a room on a sunny day anyways.

Caribe is awesome
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/08/07
Are you sure you stayed in the Caribe ? All units have 2 baths. We have stayed in 204 B several winters in a row and it is was the only room with a video game system and HDTV in the condo. Maybe the owners were in the middle of remodeling and the front peeps were not aware of it. With the activities the Caribe provides, how in the world do you have time to inspect a condo that your paying a good 325 a night ? Get out and enjoy the lazy river and pool bar.

RENTER BEWARE!!!!! ASK FOR PHOTOS!!!!
By Aloma, 07/18/07
DO NOT STAY IN 204B - IT IS HORRIFIC, ILL EQUIPPED, HORRIBLE DECOR, UNKEPT, EX. 3 bar stools, none match, wall decor - piece of driftwood (or something) with barbie doll sitting on it, 4 tvs with a remote for only one tv. NO DVDS, stero, etc. Cooking utensils still had food on them, no toaster, one bathroom - nothing to hold toilet paper. IT WAS UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!! We have stayed there before and loved other condos but this was really a "DUMP"!!!!!! Be careful what the Caribe Management rents to you - make sure you can see the photos.

Slow return of deposit and now it is the wrong amount!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/12/07
When we were at the Caribe we loved it, BUT on their website, they state that they will refund the $250 security deposit within 21 days of departure. Well, here we are at day 42, and I get a check in the mail for $172 with no explanation whatsoever for why the amount is less than $250. We left the unit just the way we found it, so I can't wait to hear the reason for the decrease. The first time I called to check on the deposit, I got no return phone call. The second time, it took several days for someone to call me back. The check is dated 6/19/2007, yet the envelope is post-marked 7/10/2007. I wonder if there is some bad accounting going on there. Maybe they are usind security deposit money to stay afloat. I would love to hear from anyone else who has experienced the same problems.

Great place for kids
By Laurie, 07/10/07
We return to the Caribe every year. The lazy river, playground and pools make it very kids friendly - and the slides at the pools are exciting for the older kids. It's a trek to the beach, unless you drive, but for our family, the amenities at the condo make up for any walks we have to take!

Our new annual vacation spot
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/04/07
This resort has great indoor and outdoor pools with slides and splash fountains. The rooms are very nice. The kitchens include stainless appliances and ice makers. The master bathroom has a jacuzzi tub and seperate shower.
