Daytona Resort & Club, Daytona Beach

my wife and i drove down from ct for my 41st birthday in may. upon checkin we were given a one bedroom on the top floor overlooking the ocean! the best room in the building in my opinion. the staff is very friendly and the pool and hot tub were cleaned daily. the grill is clean and open to the public. this resort is close to many attractions (movies, amusement rides, places to eat). it is not right on the beach but is a very close walk

We stayed here and its our first time staying in Daytona. It was wonderful!!! The rooms all have a view of the beach, and were very clean and comfortable. We would come back and stay here. It was close to everything, such as Bubba Gumps, which is a wonderful place to eat!!!

I will never stay anywhere else in Daytona. We have been here for several years now, and just love it. I like the staff, the proximity to the beach and shopping. There are just so many nice things to say about Daytona Resort and Club, there isn't room. There are plenty of things to do at the resort, and lots more within a short driving distance, and some within walking distance. The beach is so close yet not being right on the beach it is quieter. We so very much enjoy this resort. I would recommend that anyone who is going to this area check it out.

We had two family groups to spend 7 days from June 26 to July 5 at this Resort and had a blast. It is really a fine resort for families with children and it has all the facilities to keep the kids as well as the adults busy. We have owned 2 weeks there for several years and the resort looks better now than it has looked in years. There was a complete reconstruction with new furniture completed in December, 2007, and I could recommend it to anyone. There are many things to do in the Daytona area. Look around close and you will find fine restaurants everywhere with the best in Florida seafood.

This is an excellant place to stay in the Daytona area. It has a great view of the beach and is just across the street from the beach. It is like living in a condo on the beach while you are staying in the Daytona area. Jody and her staff are friendly and will help you with any information. It has a 7/11 around the corner and a market or drug store is just a short drive or bus trip away. The location is only a short trip to anywhere or anything in the Daytona area, but it is away from all of the high volumn noise of the center of the strip. It is only a nice walk to the main peer and intertainment area. While you have a condo living space, it will probably cost you less than a room at a better motel.

I have been to this resort serval times aat different times of the year and have always been more than pleased with the overall experience. The staff is the reatest and always makes you feel this is a home away from home. Jody & Beryl go out of their way to make you welcome. Its nice not to be too close to the tourist corridor, not as much noise and the beach access is perfect and uncrowded. Only time it's noisey is bike events or summer when there are a lot of kids. Otherwise I will always check here for a place to stay instead of an expensive hotel. HAve recommended this resort to a lot of people.

This resort is a timeshare/interval ownership but I believe it also rents to public. Although the address is 1200 Ruger Street, the facility is at the corner of Silver Beach and Atlantic Ave. Great access to the beach is you can walk 1.5 blocks -- nothing sits in front of the Club so you have a great view from the upper floors. Public access road to beach also provides you with a mens/womens bath house at the beach. The furnishings are dated but clean and the rooms are spacious. We flew into Daytona so we did not have a car -- this was a mistake. This part of the beach is quite remote -- no night life and no restaurants. There is a 7-11 and an all night pizza delivery nearby.
