Party Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/16/09
We visited this hotel on a timeshare visit. I would not pay, what they offer per night. Our phone did not work, either did the air condition. People were partying all night long. Our room was near the pool, very loud until 2:30 am. I would not go back.

First and last trip here....
By Kelly, 06/05/09
The only good thing about this "resort" was the location, and cleanliness of the rooms. Very close to everything, and located on a main strip with plenty of shopping and restaurants. DO NOT go to the Sales breakfast.. not only was the sales person unbelievably rude and obnoxious, but we were forced to leave the tip at the buffet that we were brought to. Most resorts reward you (park tickets, gift cards) for going to the Sales pitch, however, we lost money and were not rewarded for going. Most places these days provide a free internet service since most of us travel with our laptops, however, it cost $50 for the week to use the internet. For a "family" resort, the activities were lacking. You can only get new towels on Wednesdays ( and only if you are staying 5+ days) other than that you do not even see anyone to get towels from. lobby and customer service is a far walk/drive from most buildings. Though the price was pretty good, you only get what you pay for. It is worth it to pay a little more to get a lot more....

Great Family Resort and Close to Parks
By Melissa, 04/20/09
We have been staying here for the past 3 years. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and its soooo close to Disney. The ONLY complaint I might have is that the last time we stayed, we did'nt have a washer/dryer in our room, BUT there was a "laundry room" down the hall we could use free of charge. It would be more convient for people if ALL the rooms had washer/dryers. But other than that no complaints.

A GREAT PLACE TO STAY
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/29/09
This is a large complex consisting of many 7 story buildings (about 16) with three more under construction while were there. A number of the buildings are in groups of three laid out in a triangle with the pool in the middle of the triangle. The problem with this is that the buildings shade the pool area and allow for only a little sun. This may be a good thing in July but in March we could have used some more sun. The rooms are laid out as A abd B. The A rooms are large with a full kitchen and a large terrace. Sliding glass doors from the living room and the bedroom lead to the terrace. The B rooms are much smaller with a partial kitchen and a very small terrace. The grounds do not offer any activities other than swimming and a small playground. It is definately not a resort. Two outstanding points are its location and its cleaniness. I don,t think I have ever seen a place this size as clean as this. The halls, the grounds, everything spottless. The second big plus is the location. Five minutes from Disneys main gate and no more than ten minutes to many of the major roads. As long as you are not looking for a resort with many activities you can't go wrong staying here.

Worst Service Ever!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/24/09
We booked a 2-Bedroom Suite and got 2 1-Bedroom suites without range, washer/dryer or whirlpool tub. Bug in a towel and no chairs available at the pool. 90 minute timeshare presentation turned into 3+ hours. STAY AWAY!!!

In the heart of it all!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/10/09
We have been traveling the east coast for years, with and with out RCI. Vacation Village at Parkway is by far one of our favorite resorts (we ended up buying there, one of 3 timeshares we own. The quality of service and friendliness is by far superior than most others. Did I mention located in the heart of it all...

We're GOING BACK!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/23/09
Me and my boyfriend stood at this hotel last summer and we're in our early 20's I must say I LOVED IT!!! The staff was nice, our room was amazing especially the jacuzzi. It was like having our own mini apartment. The ONLY thing I can say sucked was the odor from the rugs through out the hall ways it had a rather musty smell but, As long as your not going to hangout in the hall way, you're fine :-) I AM going back! Oh and Tim at guest services was VERY HELPFUL & FRIENDLY.

Well...
By holly r, 07/15/08
The hotel was surrounded by lots of restaurants: Japanese Steakhouse, Wendy's, ihop..etc If you plan on going to this hotel without a car..please take the bus to wherever you go: Disney, sea world etc. bus drivers are very helpful..and you will save tons of money for $1.75 bus ride compared to $30 to go 2 miles up to Disney. Hotel room was very clean and had everything you needed. only problem I had with this hotel was the customer service! I have never complained such much about hotel workers. Their job is to call the shuttle driver and tell them where you need to be picked up..they had my boyfriend and I wait over a half hour in the rain...the woman never gave the messages to the driver (we called 3 times) on the day of our check out..the customer service rep told us that the shuttle was backed up by a half hour- we had to walk all the way to the front desk from building 7. BE ADVISED: If you stay at this hotel: there are different buildings...they are quite a distance from each other...and its a pain in the ass. the 'free' shuttle service the hotel provides only goes '2 miles' and NOTHING further.. however, shuttle drivers were really friendly!

As good as I had hoped!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/10/08
Traveling on business with a co-worker. We could get two one-bedroom suites that were connected for privacy, yet could share space when needed. This worked out great. We stayed at Vacation Village while in town for a convention. The two rooms together were $70 cheaper than one of the convention's host hotel rooms. It would be a great suite for families, too. Location was good, but not great. The location requires a car. Nothing really in walking distance. There were activities that would be good for vacationers with a flexible schedule. The only bad experience I had was the mattress. I slept on the couch the last night and slept better than on the king bed with the steel mattress. I would recommend this to friends.
