Onsite managers just plain MEAN!
After a day of fishing, my husband and I stayed to visit with friends that stay here. 4 times the onsite manager, an older lady, came to reprimand us at the pool. First for having drinks in the pool area, which was green tea in a cup. I was told that I had to leave the pool with my drink. Second, she barked orders for me to move my car, which was parked in an unoccupied RV slot, adjacent to where I was sitting (outside the pool peramiters) since all 4 visitor slots were taken. I told her I would move my car if someone came in with their RV. She argued back that it was the rules. I told her we were leaving and 10 minutes later she was there to check if the car had been moved. After my husband moved the car to a now available visitor spot, she demanded that we pay $2 per person for using the pool as guests. At this point, I was upset and told her the "rules" were ridiculous and no one, besides her, were bothered by my car being parked in an open spot. We have been there 3 times after fishing and everytime "Nazi Nancy" is on the prowl looking for someone to attack. My husband and I stay at the Lagoons and have never been assulted by someone who works the grounds. We have always disliked our indoor pool, because we enjoy being outside. I now have a new appreciation for The Lagoons and an VERY bad taste left in my mouth from the uncooperative management of Watersedge. Our friends are actually considering not returning (after 10 years of loyalty) next summer. What kind of "get away" is it if you are constantly being chased around and completey disrespected in front of your own visitors. What a disgrace and how embarassing for those who are on the other end of "Nazi Nancy's" wrath. Buyer beware!!!
