Romeo Hotel, Naples

I LOVED this hotel! we go every single year since 2002 around July. You have a beach view, the people there are so nice, and its a very relaxing place. The beach is pretty much right across the street, we would eat everyday at "the post" which is one building over, We ate at Flippers for amazing ice cream which is the next building next to us and it has a BEAUTIFUL beach walk & pier. & sometimes they have festivals going on at the pier and its so close to the hotel! it's so nice just to walk on the beach to the pier and back during sunset. This Hotel is awesome and there is so many good things about it. expecially all the close places you get to go to. The service was very very good, the hotel was always neat and clean, the value is wonderful, and the location is the best part. sure some people wrote bad reviews but no experience is perfect, every experience at the Pelican Pointe was PERFECT. the only bad experience we had was at Shepards cuz the music is loud through out the WHOLE NIGHT and you have to walk farther than the beach but there breakfast is good, we go to there breakfast sometimes when we stay at the Pelican Pointe. :)

If you are on spring break and looking for a flop house then this is your place. However, if you enjoy a clean room and leisure area stay clear. Since the new management took over the whole establishment has gone way down hill. There were so many bad things that happened to us during our stay in May, 2008 that I can't possible tell you. It is filthy, the staff is not helpful and get very annoyed if you approach them with a concern, the housekeeping is late or as in our case sometimes doesn't even show up. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this one and you'll avoid a lot of disappointment.

We all loved this place, 4 of my friends and I of course, stayed here for 7 days and had a BLAST, we had a few problems paying for the place, apparntly they don't take cash?, so we figured it out later on. We were on spring break and kind of hanging around the wrong people at the wrong time so we almost got kicked out but as well resolved that too. But over all free breakfest was great, the people and service was great too. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed two nights at Pelican Point and was very pleased. Our room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has beach access - it is a short walk and there is some construction going behind the hotel but nothing major. It is located at the very end of the beach which was kind of nice (less traffic) The front desk (Vicky) was great and gave us some super dinner advice.
