La Mirage Condominiums, Port Aransas

This condo was as described, very well stocked and comfortable. The owner seems to have redone the entire inside of the condo as everything looks new. We had our family of four down for Sandfest and it was awesome. The well appointed kitchen allowed us to eat all of our meals "at home" and avoid the usual tourist crowds. My wife and I enjoyed the suset views from the front porch and the ability to watch our kids the the courtyard area from the back porch. Weather was a little on the cool side while we were there, but thanks to the complex having heated pools the kids could still swim to thier hearts content. Overall great trip, great condo.

This is the 5th time that we have stayed here. We absolutely love the sizes of the rooms and condos! If you want space for a fantastic price, then Casa del Cortez is the one for you! We've stayed in the 3 bdrm, 2 bdrm, & one bdrm. All are slightly different, but huge! I have checked around and the prices are much lower than other condos w/ 3bdrm, but the sq. ft. is larger at the Casa. The pool area is nice for BBQ's and swimming. This was the first time that we went when the mosquitoes were bad, but it had rained many weeks before, and the city came around a few times a day spraying. Very close to the beach. Staff is super friendly! I was even given a tour of all types of rooms available, just ask the staff & they will gladly show you! We will ALWAYS come back here as this is our vacation home away from home. Great view of the beach, too!! Thanks for the perfect vacation.

I have stayed at Casa Del Cortez 3 times and have enjoyed it. The rooms are really large and comfortable and the views are great. The pool is small, but pretty. Unfortunatley, the mosquitos were out in full force last time, so we couldn't enjoy the pool for long. The service was good. The rates seemed a little high, but I didn't shop around much, so they are probably on target for what you pay in Port A these days. Ah, the good old days when Mom and Dad paid the bills...

We loved everything about this place and highly recommend it. The price was great and it was very quiet and relaxing. It is right on the ocean and the beach is nice and clean. The employees were super-friendly and helpful. Our condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was overall a great experience and we will absolutely be going back!
