Oasis Resort, Siesta Key

This place is definately not worth your time. The kid at the front desk was rude and acted as if we were bothering him while on his phone. The "owner" looked like Tony Little. Now on to the rooms. The room we had was in like an apartment building and the stairs smelled of rotting fish and the carpet was filthy, The door had a lock on it like a bathroom door, We get inside to find a dirty couch, a tv with no controls or remote, the VCR damaged and a wall A/C unit with no buttons. The kitchen was supposed to be a full kitchen and only had a hot plate with crusty food on it, The fridge had old food and mold growing in it, The dishwasher was packed with dirty dishes and mold. The bedroom floor had a hole in it with the sheets on the bed looking like they just came out of a mud hole and the bathroom floor tiles were cracked and growing mold, The toilet was old and dirty and the shower was almost completely covered in mold and mildew. We gave up a whole nights rent and left immediately!! It was a horrible experience. Even the area surrounding (beach,shops,restaurants) were horrible. Please Don't waste your time.

I was looking for a cheap place to stay for the weekend and didn't expect to be staying in a small apartment. The keys were already at the door when I arrived and we weren't bothered with check-in proceedures. The room was very spacious, elegant, and clean with a full kitchen and utinsils. The location was great with the beach accross the street and away from the main strip but within two minutes driving to the mini grocery store. The pool wasn't anything too spectacular put it was clean. For the price you can't find anything better.

I have worked in the hospitality industry and have never had an experience like this. We found our room to be in such bad repair and undesirable that I forfited one nights rent to NOT stay there. The room was beyond filthy, the bed resembled a sway back horse and besides the mold in the bathroom the tub was filthy. The odor and the filth of the rooms were beyond belief, I am shocked that they are in business.
