Seaside Beach Club, Pompano Beach

The most important thing in real estate (they say) is location, location, location. That is also true of a vacation spot. This place is located on the beach. This is our second visit at Seaside Beach Club, and it will not be the last. We stayed (this time), in unit #11. Ground floor, beside the pool, and just steps away from the beach. The resort is older, but very well maintained, very clean, very pleasant staff. Our unit was a one bedroom, two bath unit, and with three of us (me, my wife and son) that worked out perfectly. Seaside actually has two buildings. All two bedroom units are across the street, so if you opt for one of those units you do not have an ocean view, and have to cross the street, but that should not be a problem. The street is not busy. The resort itself has two pools, an outdoor spa, and a couple of grills. Seaside may not have all the bells and whistles of new resorts, but if you want a wonderful vacation spot, at a great price, ON THE BEACH -- it simply can NOT be beat. The resport supplies virtually all the supplies you could need, including towels, coffee maker, microwave, oven, plates, pots and pans. As mentioned this is our second time to stay here, and it will NOT be the last.

This was a WONDERFUL vacation!! The Seaside Beach Club was very nice. We stayed in Condo #11 and it was very nice. It was a one bedroom 2 bath condo on the First floor. It was very clean and had everything you could possible need....even beach towels!! The staff was very accomodating and full of information about the surrounding areas. They were very helpful in finding anything you needed and told us of some fabulous restaurants to eat. This was the most relaxing beach vacation I have ever had. The pool was right outside our condo door and the beach path was just steps away. I am hoping to go back for 2 weeks next year and hopefully stay in the same condo........VERY family friendly.......my niece and nephew just had a great time....My 73 year old mother loved the pool and we met some wonderful people. I would highly recommend the Seaside Beach Club.....NOT fancy....but very clean....perfect beachfront accomodations.

We stayed in a 1 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo with a full kitchen on the 3rd floor with great views of the ocean and pool. Unit #33. The pool itself is right beside the beach and there's a gas grill there also. We were 2 adults with 2 teenage children. The kids slept on the pull-out couch. Plenty of room for everyone especially because it had 2 bathrooms. Everything in the kitchen seemed brand new & the unit itself was very clean. The grounds were well maintained. There was someone sweeping the common areas every day & I saw the grass being mowed once too. I was skeptical about going there because of some of the bad reviews from a few years ago but was thrilled with the place & everyone who works there. (especially Kim in the office-very pleasant & helpful) They have another building which houses the townhouses. It's just across the street-not oceanfront but has the 2nd pool there with a hot tub, grill, bathroom with shower & tables with nice chairs where you can sit in the shade if you want. This building also has laundry facilities, which is a must if you are traveling with children! The street that you have to cross is not busy at all. We loved that it was only a 3 story building right on the beach! Their website does not do it justice, especially with the beach views from the units & common areas. Remember people, if you do not book a unit on the beach side, you will not be able to see the beach from your window. You'll be across the street. Know the difference. There's nothing wrong with those units, just be aware of what you're booking ahead of time. We stayed there through a timeshare swap with Interval International. We've gone to many places & this is the only one that supplied everything you need in the condo for the entire week. (laundry soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, trashbags) If you want more you just ask at the office. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

We've been vacationing at Seaside for 20 years. There are VERY few hotels right on the beach - most have highway A1A between you and the ocean so you hear cars all night. Seaside is 100 ft. from the water and I can sleep hearing the waves crashing. Two pools mean you can always do laps. Hot-tub if the sea is cold. The beach is almost your own - no crowds, no noises. SCUBA dive a great reef just 75 yards from the shore. Nearby shops, movies, malls, gym, great restaurants. Friendly staff make it easy to get what you want. Upkeep is pretty good considering this place is ground zero for most hurricanes in the off-season. The staff repair and replace most stuff before you know it needs it. If you want a simple, beach-oriented vacation without frills for under $200 a night, this is the place.

Have vacationed at Seaside Beach Club at least half a dozen times. It is an older facility with a great location. After the latest hurricane much needed updating was accomplished and the place is now a cut above average. But we go there for a vacation - not to stay in a room(s). Location is central to what we like to do, i.e., play tennis, shopping, etc. Atlantic Ave. with several good restaurants is nearby. Beach, ocean, pool and jacuzzi are on premesis when we hang out at the facility. Usually we stay on the ocean side - great view along with morning coffee. Each unit has a parking place. Even though families are often there, it is quiet. Good value for a vacation in southeast Florida. Front office persons could be more helpful - often can't answer questions. Front office needs to look more like an office - however that is management's problem - doesn't interfere with vacation. I've stayed in much better and much worse places. Its a good value for vacations.

This is the third time I have been to this motel. I absolutely love the location - right on the beach, there's always a breeze that circulates and the views are breathtaking from the third floor. You can see the pool, the beach, the ocean, the sky, the moon and the stars. Heavenly. Prime location a few minutes to restaurants, shopping, and attractions. BUT and that's a Big but. The room was not clean when we arrived. The maid was supposed to have cleaned it. I saw hairs on the toilet and on the floor. The shower had grime. Maid service was supposed to come twice in 2 weeks, and because we complained the day we came they cleaned it and then cleaned it one more time even though we were entitled to 2 cleanings. They counted the first time as one. I'm sorry but the day you arrive the room should have been clean. And the management complained when we needed towels evry second day. They almost didn't want to supply us with them. We also noticed other hotel towels were soft and new and then when we looked at ours they were the rough to the touch. The staff and management wasn't helpful at all. We ran out kitchen supplies no one asked us if we needed anything. Three years ago there was a get together by the pool given by management, one day was donut day for example this was fun for everyone. This time I looked to see what day it was on the bulletin board nothing. No donut day no coffee day -- nothing. Oh yeah the picture of the donut was still there. And the pool looked dirty it wasn't cleaned often enough. In the room the sofa bed was awful, just awful I remember the same problem last time too. My neck was hurting, and my back. These mattresses need changing desparately. The kitchen needs a new microwave I was scared to use it it looked like it was 20 years old. The kitchen needs renovating cracks everywhere. Everything in the bathroom needs renovating too. The grounds need an upkeep. I've never seen the owner of the hotel. This place needs renovations done and fast. I was embarassed to tell people what I just told you. I kept focusing on the positive. This place is falling apart. I have actually seen rodents that had eaten pieces of fruit left out in the open in the room in the past. This time we kept any and all supplies in the cabinets or fridge so nothing is left to chance. Yes that's right I said rodents. The place needs maid service on a daily basis. You should see how much sand was in our room by the end of the 2 weeks. I felt like I was camping. Camping is ok but I was happy to get back to my clean home. I checked out some other motels on the beach more well-kept, more maid service, newer rooms. Next time I will try another one.

What do you want from a small timeshare -hotel smack on the beach! It's well located, great sunset, great parking space, lots of land to move about. Very friendly management team. It's homey and child proof. Overall a great vacation resort! A happy customer!
