Caloosa Cove Resort, Islamorada

We have been staying at Caloosa Cove for the past five years. It is quiet and clean! The pool overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a nice beach with lots of Palm trees. My husband and I sit on the beach at night and enjoy the breeze off the Atlantic. There is also a marina next door. We keep our boat docked there throughout our stay. Located just outside of the Islamorada city limits, there isn't much traffic and just a short drive to restaurants and shopping. The office staff and marina staff are helpful and friendly. We have a standing reservation every year.

We had a fantastic time. This resort was perfect. It was well maintained both inside and out. The pool was large, always clean and never crowded. At any given time only a handful of people and the general feel is quiet and calming. You have a beautiful view of the boats coming into the marina and plenty of pelicans for amusement. The staff was very friendly and have couldn't be more helpful. Much to do if you so desire...tennis, bike rides, lounging by the pool, enjoying the incredible sunset, long walks etc. I am extremely fussy about where I stay when I vacation and this resort definately met all of my requirements! I definately recommend this location and can't wait to go back!

We liked the old florida feel to the resort. It had mature, well maintained landscaping that was very impressive to someone from the north. This is not your typical motel. We loved the uncrowded feeling of the resort, there are only 30 units, several times we were the only people at the pool The rooms were comfortable and very clean, our one BR unit had two full baths. The on site staff was very friendly and helpful providing a crib and high chair. There were many good restaurants locally and a beautiful beach was adjacent to the resort.
