Forget the hotels in Hilo...
This was the highlight of our recent trip to the Big Island. My wife had a conference at the Hilton Waikoloa Resort, but we enjoyed Toad Hall so much more. It was like being at home; so much better than a condo, much less a hotel room.
Everything was provided and every whim anticipated. The kitchen was stocked with bottled water, canned sodas, bread, butter and jelly for a light breakfast. While there was no maid service, there were plenty of towels and supplies.
The quiet neighborhood was a plus, with the neighbor on one side being the 13th fairway of the golf club. Since we love frogs, the toad theme throughout was very inviting.
