Bull hotel

This hotel does not have a whole lot to offer. I would not recommend it.
My friend arrived there early in the morning and was told that she could not get a room until 2:00p.m. After creating a stink, they finally let her in. She said that the windows could not be opened as they were padlocked and no balcony. It was like more of a motel according to her.
This place is in the flight path of the aircraft and has no insulation to deaden the noise. My friend said that she was trying to call me and after nine attempts, she got through. Each failed attempt was 3,600 bolivars. This is a total ripoff as no body should have to pay for a call that does not connect.
I also booked the room online and included my Visa number before she arrived but would not accept my Visa number and wanted to see the physical card even though she had a letter from my with all of the information.
She ended up using her card instead.
For $189 cad per night, it's was no where near a 5 star hotel as it was listed on the internet.
Apparently, this hotel/motel is close to a slum area.
The cab charged her 60,000 bolivars from the airport to hotel which is only supposed to be 5 mins from the airport as advertised.
This place sounds like a total rip off.
