Fantastic 10 day break
By david, 9/21/11
I had always been apprehensive about having a holiday in Turkey - but that has all changed! Turkey has come a long way in the last 15 years and we had a fantastic holiday at the Majesty Club Tuana and Park, Fetiyhe. After the last few holidays doing self-catering in expensive apartments, we fancied a value-for-money all-inclusive and that's just what we got. Staff we very friendly, appartments very clean and comfortable, food and facilities all excellent. The Spa was superb. If you want a resort where you can do as much or as little as you want - where the staff don't hassle you to join in - then this is the holiday for you. Whenever I go away, I always remember that resorts or hotels are run by humans - not robots - and to attempt to please EVERYBODY all of the time is humanly imposible.

Awful staff and food
By RICHARD C, 10/7/10
This was the first time we have been to Turkey and because of the staff attitude here and the very poor food I doubt very much that I will go back. The hotel room and grounds are not to be faulted as are the cleaning staff and garden workers, but these are not customer facing. The staff that should looked at are the restaurant staff and the bar staff, The former will never look you in the face and it leaves a very unsatisfactory feeling, they whip plates and cutlery from your table without looking or speaking to you almost before you have finished and if you were to leave your table unattended to get a drink it will be cleared. The bar staff never smile and are never quick to serve, almost as if they are doing you a favour. The Reception staff were actually hostile towards us on a couple of occasions. The food is almost all of a very poor quality and served from cold to warm, a lot of processed meat is used and when there was roasted chicken it was being pulled apart by the gloved hands of a staff member and placed on your plate (heaven forbid I might have selected a piece of breast). Fresh orange juice is charged for (yes in an all inclusive) Relaxing around the pool area is ok if you can ignore the constant very loud pounding music from the very large speakers, this music seems to be there for the staff as no one I spoke to required it. The nightly entertainment is a joke! This is provided by the leisure staff miming to songs and is below Rep-Night level, no professional entertainers involved here. Beer wine, tea, coffee and water are available to self serve, but why not soft drinks? I could see no ice cream for the children, only that which was bought from the shop. To sum up this holiday:- The hotel and grounds for both park and club are first class but let down extremely badly by the quality of food, third rate entertainment and unfriendly staff in the restaurant and main bar. Once here there is nowhere to walk to as this complex is a long way down a track from the main road and nothing at the main road end to walk to, so you are stuck with the problems and they know it.

Warning: If you don't mind rude unhelpful staff then good luck
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/3/07
The staff were very rude, especially in the resturant. Nobody was helpful at all. For a 5* hotel we only rated it as a 3*. The hotel was not English friendly at all. Good luck to anyone who is staying there.

It was AMAZING!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/06
The hotel itself was great, but the people were amazing! it was the first time we ever met an actually talented group of artists in the animation team working on incredibly funny and really professional shows every night. the activities organized throughout the day were keeping us busy and in shape! it was really great, we met so many people, made so many friends and after a week time were wishing our flight was cancelled till at least next month!

Unexpectedly lovely
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/2/05
We are a family of 5, 3 daughters aged 2, 3 and 7 at the time of travelling in October 2005. We had had mixed reviews about Turkey. We were also concerned about going all-inclusive and what seemed like a long way away from the nearest town. Finally the price seemed too good to be true! However, the hotel was lovely, and the area in Turkey was gorgeous. Fethiye only took about 10 mins in a cab or there was a bus from the hotel. We did all share one room which was a little cramped but bear in mind there was 5 of us. For less than 5 the double rooms with en-suite are plenty big enough. The food was great and loads of it! Our children weren't keen, but are not good eaters anyway! The entertainment was really good and there were a lot of activities during the day, including water polo, archery, football, volleyball, water aerobics. The kids club was not a complete success. The facilites for young children were great, the play area was brilliant and the kids clubhouse was really good, however the lady which ran the kids club only spoke a very limited amount of english and a LOT of german which unfortunately alienated most of the english children. This was a shame because the german children seemed to love the club and activities. However, I would not let this put you off, if there are more english visitors next year I feel sure that this will be addressed. The complex was very safe the pools fantastic and right on the beach. You could be lazing around the pool one minute and following your 2 year old onto the beach the next! Although we had fab weather the pools were cold and quite cold in the evening - take cardigans and jumpers in October!! We have already discussed going back again and as long as the prices don't go up too much we will definitely consider it next year.

Majesty Tuana Beach Club
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/31/05
We loved the place. We had had mixed reviews on Turkey and therefore had reservations about booking to go, we shouldnt have worried it was a fabulous location and the staff were great. The food on the all inclusive basis was varied and plentiful along with the drinks (minibar in the room one fill only) which were as described, all local brands but of reasonable quality. The animations team were good with organised activities and evening performances. The location right on the beach was superb my only complaint was that the shows the animations team put on were not always child friendly and would be more suited to an adult audience. All in all the experience was good and i would return to the same hotel. The hotel was descibed as 5 star but i would rate it 4 star but dont let that put you off it was a great holiday and i would recommend it to anyone. Also the weather was grat for the time of year.
