I found the service of top quality.

i went to nepal last month in april 2007.The staffs, Chandra, badri are very helpful and quality of the hotel is top class. i can't wait to go back to hotel diplomat again.saving some money and visit in 2008 again. thank you

Terrible

This place was nasty, there was no hot water at all. The showers and toliet are public so you don't have your own shower and toliet. I was laying in my nasty bed ( which the bed was dirty aswell) and seen a lizard on the roof. I suggest to you not to waste you money at a place like this. Also the electric is powerd by a generator which isnt own half the time, so we had no power in the middle of the night. When we got there are bedroom door didnt shut so we had to fix it so we could atleast close it. Dont waste your time here

The hotel staff confirmed by email when I made reservation that they would pick me up from the airport but no one showed up. I tried to call but no one answered. I ended up taking a taxi to the hotel myself. The hotel website claimed that it was recommended by Lonely Planet but nowhere could I find the recommendation. They also claimed to have hot shower but the hot water wasn't turned on when I was there (end of Oct) so I ended up skipping shower. The toilet also did not work and nothing would flush. I do not recommend going there at all!!!

Very good budget hotel

This is very good a budget hotel. Nice and clean bed, close to main city and good atmosphere and highly recommended. They have friendly staff and nice view from roof top garden restaurant. If you are looking for anyting fancy than this is the not right one but if you are looking for a budget one, is the best one in the town. They helped me to organize all my tours and trekking too.
