Casita de Maya Hotel, Emiliano Zapata

We just stayed 7 days at Casita de Maya. It was amazing! This little hotel is a gem. It features four nicely designed, clean and very spacious rooms with every comfort you can imagine (fridge, micro wave, fan, AC, satellite TV, DVD, Video...) and a nice pool outside. We were upgraded to the newest room with a king size bed. We loved the location as there are lots of little, local shops around the corner where you can buy mexican specialities, fresh fruits or stock up your fridge with cerveza. The owner, Dan, offers incredible hospitality and is very helpful. He knows the island and the locals inside out and always pointed us to the best spots to get great authentic food. He helped us with renting a car (the best way to explore the island) and even organized a diving trip. He really made us feel like "at home away from home". If you wish to discover the real Cozumel while spending quality time in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to stay. We loved it and would come back any time. Thanks again for everything Dan!!
