The complex also has 2 restaurants, 3 bars, a disco, daily activities and nightly live entertainment under the stars.There is horseback riding and an 18-hole golf course nearby. Would never go back....

One night I approached the waiter for a cup of hot water to make decaf and was told 'No'. I thought I did not hear him correctly, so I asked again and again I was told "No, I would not be getting it."... I approach the security guard who gave me the cup of hot water....it turns out he had been drinking. Another day I had a guest that came by to pick up a package I was asked to deliver. One of the staff who knew the guest called my guest home to let them know he was at the hotel. When I return home I wrote a email to the manager.. my privacy rights as a guest staying at his hotel was so violated. The next day I was sent emails with profanity quoting the email I had sent to the manager.... it appears someone had forward the email I sent him to their home so they could have my email address.... it was a nightmare. I would NEVER go back.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

this place is sooo great, small ,private, great staff, great service.i went for the first very first time to jamaica bymyself and loved my stay everybody was so nice and made me feel right at home and so very safe. The staff really goes above and beyond their duties to make you feel like you are welcome and comffortable there. I will be goin back for many years to come. There are so many things to do on and off the resort and they make sure you are in safe hands all the time..thanks for being sooo great. Ms l. From las vegas : )

Always Look Forword to Returning

We have been going to the Club for 20 years, Love all the people, have been all over the world and trust me, this is the best, most relaxing place I have ever been, staff for the most part is excellent, your always going to have some that have a chip on their sholder and lack social skills, but in saying that sometimes we must check ourselves as we can be unreasonable. The food is great, drinks are super, sun is hot, what else could you want !!! I love the ambiance of Club Ambiance, done the super clubs, five stars, and so on, Club is small so you can really relax, it is truely "home away from home" have never been disappointed. The management does a excellent job and God knows, pleasing all of us in a pain in the - - - . I am proud to call them part of our family.

Would never go back severly disrespected

I went with my girlfriends and we will NEVER go back to this location. We felt like the staff didn't want us leave the compound. For whatever reason, our phone calls were not patched, wake up calls not recieved, and we were not notified when we had guest. I felt that we were singled out because we were women not in couples. We had a great time with locals and friends. As we have friends and family in Jamaica it was very frustrating that we were babysat.

i loved club ambiance!!...it was the best holiday i av eva been on! the staff r friendly expecially the pool staff, mark big up, shane u kno who u r..lol! entertainment is fun, four real boys big up!! adrian ur sooooo sexy!! food was good loved the freshly cooked omelettes, colin cooks them perfect jus wat u need when u gotta hangover! good location, cliffs bar nex door is a good chill out spot!.. u must go to priory beach party its off the hook! cant wait to return to club ambiance see u in 2009 xxxxx

Money Well Spent

I've been going to Club Ambiance since 2002 and have only missed 2 years. Every year I go its a new experience and some renovation has taken place. It's quiet, fun, inexpensive and best of all, NO KIDS. Don't get me wrong I love kids but not on my vacation. The hotel's ground is alway well kept, the food is great! The workers are always so pleasant and as a local its nice to be treated as a tourist. I'm going back this year for my second anniversary and I know I'll have a great time and gaina bout 5lbs. :-D

Great place for the money!

This is a nice alternative to the big mega resorts. Since there's only 90 rooms, you get to know other people staying there, and the staff remembers you from day to day. It's a pretty intimate atmosphere compared to the big resorts. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good. We had an issue with water pressure in our shower, but they fixed it right away. For the money we spent, we felt very satisfied with what we got. The food was good, but you don't get as many choices as at the bigger resorts. The beach is nice, but small, and the swimming is not very good. It's OK to get in and cool off, but not much else, there's too many rocks out beyond the breaker walls. The Legends bar is very cool, right out on the water. The rooms are OK, they're kept very clean, but they are old and in need of some repair and updating. I don't know if we'd go back next year, we kind of like a more luxurious place, but you can't beat Club Ambiance for the money. Some people write negative reviews, but I think they're expecting a five star resort for a three star price.

Experience 2 Remember

I really enjoyed my trip to jamaica. it was my first time visiting the island and i really enjoyed myself. The only thing i found annoying was the sheer audacity of some of the male staff. Kirki, aka Kirkton is a flirtation man who thought he was god's gift to all women. Stay clear from the entertainment staff. But the rest of the Holiday you will definitely enjoy!

SMOKING

Loved the food, people are wonderful, service is exquisite, entertainment is fun! The beach and pool are nice. Great Sunset. Drinks & food are always available. If you are a non-smoker this is a BIG problem. We were in a very small minority so that smoke was alway in our face. eg. Dining Room, beach, entertainment. Our suggestion is for the addition of some non smoking areas. Only other disappointments were: Infrastructure is aging and in need of repair, paint etc. No expansive beach to walk on. But beach is nice. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable but showers need improvement.

going back 6th time

nice location friendly people no children.A fine place to chill or join in daily activities ,good food & plenty of it. Down side was bathroom facilities but in the process of being upgraded.Beach was small but clean most of staff fun, friendly and very helpfull we will be back at xmas this year cant wait. ken & carol
