This three star hotel is well known for its Elizabethan banquets while its Black Knight Restaurant has a reputation for fine food. Equally ideal for a daytime snack or drink. The Lumley Castle is adjacent to a golf course, and overlooks a beautiful stretch of the River Wear, and the Durham County Cricket Club home ground.
