Mercure Perth Hotel, Perth

From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel welcome. The receptionist was friendly, helpful and informative, without any of that "too nice" over-trained nonsense I was shown to my room, which was spotless, although, perhaps a little small. It was well supplied with soaps, gels and towels in the bathroom. The main part of the room was supplied with tea-making facilities, iron and board, trouser press, hair-dryer, TV and a central heating system set at just the right temp. And so, to the bar. Again, spotless, comfortable, comp. crisps and a friendly, helpful barman. The breakfast was buffet style and the food well prepared with a good selection to choose from. Fresh tea, coffee and toast was in plentiful supply from the alert waitress. I could find no reason to look for other accommodation on my next trip to Perth.
