Very comfortable stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/18/10
I recently visited Toronto to watch the Raptors vs. Celtics, and the game was as awesome as the room. I booked a superior studio suite a month in advance and was able to take advantage of the non-refundable rate of only $99/night regularly $179/night . The moment you walk into the hotel you notice its elegance and hint of coziness. I took the advice of some previous disappointed guests and asked to be placed into the new tower section of the hotel. The hotel is separated into two towers, a historic and new tower. I also made a request to be placed on the highest floor for which they came through with and placed me on the 37th floor. I had a great view of the city overlooking the harbor nearby. As for the overnight parking, I suggest to park across the street in the underground complex (commerce court, between Melinda st and Wellington st), unless your gonna be in and out a lot for which then I suggest their unlimited valet service which cost $30. The location is absolutely perfect, walking distance to the Toronto Eaton center/ Younge and Dundas square, underground subway across the street, Air Canada Centre nearby.

What is a suite?
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/23/08
I was expecting a suite with the bedroom separated from the balance of the living area. What we received was a larger than normal room. Luckily we were serenaded by jack hammers from outside. Also in these times most high end hotels offer wireless and usually for free not "slow" high speed through a cable. It is these types of things that are disappointing. They almost got it right but blew it on what should be important details.

SO F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S!!!!!!!!!
By Tiffany, 1/8/07
For it's price this hotel was fabulous. I went with my kids n 6 other adults and me n my special friend stayed in the Tower Superior Suite. The view from our room was breathtaking:). The hotel staff was ever so friendly to us n our kids. Not to mention the hotel wasn't very far from some Toronto famed attractions like Rogers Centre, Eaton Centre, CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame, etc, etc.... We all absolutely loved this hotel and I will def stay here again n again n again. Totally recommended:)!!!!

how does it get better?
By scott, 11/21/06
stayed the end of november. was amazed at how nice the place looked. for 130 a night i expected something a little more motel 6'ish but this hotel was better looking than a holiday inn. room had a washer, dryer, microwave, kitchen, and even dishes. excellent food is right outside the hotel doors at several places. walking distance to everything downtown. parking is under the hotel and is 30 a day, but you will pay that regardless anywhere downtown or throughout the city for that matter. this is an excellent location at a great price. tip: when you go there, drive across king street from the west going east and take a right on jordan, which is just before yonge st. the entrances to the hotel is in the front (on king st) and in the back (on jordan st). the place to park your car is actually on jordan st. if you dont know this you may end up driving around the block several times trying to figure out how to get in.

Felt like a Queen
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 7/9/06
Great suite! Was on vacation from CA. Enjoyed the room (PCF pillows & comforters, state of the art washer/dryer, beautiful kitchenette), great location (next to a Startbucks & in the heart of the city),easy access to the subway/trolley/shops. The staff was very courteous & the access to the 1 King Cadillac Limos were a treat. We booked this hotel because of the good reviews. I hope this will help someone when considering this luxery hotel. Recommend it highly. You will not be disappointed.

A Great Find!
By M, 5/22/06
I couldn't believe how nice this hotel was. I went to Toronto to see a concert at the Hummingbird Theater, I looked on-line for hotels that would be in a walking distance. The Suites at 1 King West were the most cost efficient in the vicinity. It was hard to find the hotel but when I did I was blown away. The staff were super helpful and friendly. And it didn't feel like I was in a hotel, it felt like I was at home. I will never stay in a differant hotel in Toronto now that I have found the Suites.

excellent location/value for money
By Unstoppable, 4/10/06
Just spent a great long weekend at Suites at 1 West. Studio was comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equiped with fridge, microwave, apartment sized dishwasher, washer and dryer!! It is a 10 minute walk to the theatres, Eaton centre or St Lawrence Market as well as numerous excellent restaurants. Just be careful looking out of the windows while waiting for the elevator .. the window is resessed and its easy to bump your head !

Excellent Services and Friendliness
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 2/15/06
Lack of lighting highlighting the external historic architecture of the old bank. The Dominion Hall was still under construction. However the services were excellent and staff were friendly.
