6 reviews for Park Hyatt Seoul, Seoul
good
By Юля, 01/08/10
This hotel makes you forget about the disadvantages by its amazing city view from floor-to-ceiling windows! And bathroom tube with the same delightful view is good. But not everything was perfect... In general room looked pretty used, even clean (I don't know how old is this hotel). We got only 1 bathrobe, instead of two, hear drier was a real disaster... And Internet access for a fee... didn't expect that in a 5 star hotel... and when we asked for a cell phone charger to get to our room - they probably forgot about it... So... only 4 from 5

My most favorite hotel ever
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/17/08
My husband and our teenage son and I stayed at the Park Hyatt Seoul in June 2008 and we loved it. The rooms are huge with floor to ceiling windows with incredible views of the city. The bathrooms are amazing with very high ceilings and granite walls. The window shades and lights in our suite were operated by remote control. The hotel elevator is an intelligent and secure system that reads your guest key to take you to your floor. The Hotel lobby is located near the top of the building with stunning panoramic views of the city and the mountains in the distance. If I ever have the chance to go back to Seoul, I will definitely stay at the Park Hyatt Seoul. The service at this hotel was unbeleivable. All the staff treated us like visiting royalty. The spa was exceptional. The breakfast in the hotel restaurant was delicious. This hotel is just across the way from the COEX Mall, which is a gigantic underground mall with literally hundreds of restaurants and stores. We loved it.

not what i expected- inconvienient parking.. small entrance area that is not ideal. I thought that food were mediocre but compared to that, far too expensive. Facilities are fine but service was not exceptional. Maybe i had too high of an expectation???

Best 6 star Hotel in Seoul
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/21/06
This is the best hotel in South Korea. The rooms are the biggest and decorated in a tastefully modern yet very Korean style. The staff we encountered could all speak perfect English, and looked like they had just stepped out of a Fashion shoot. For a six star hotel it's great value. The reception on the top floor has the best view of downtown Seoul. It was the closest to a "Lost in Translation" experience. It's easy to see why some hotels can inspire a movie. I can't wait to go back!

Best Hotel in Southern Seoul
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/22/06
My fiancee and I stayed at the Park Hyatt in June, 2006. The hotel was about one year old then, but most people still don't know about it. It's not a famous hotel in Seoul like the top hotels listed on Yahoo Travel, but it's certainly a 5-star experience and a good location for business travellers or anyone who has to wake up the next morning to be in the Gangnam district of Seoul. The Park Hyatt is close to COEX and the COEX InterContinental Hotel, which is a little older, famous, and also good. Park Hyatt service is professional, and the rooms are the best I've seen--especially because they're so new, clean and modern. Room bathrooms are unusually nice, with a deep tub, TV, luxurious shower, and "modern natural" design featuring natural stone and wood. Each room also has a new LCD/plasma TV and the things you'd expect in a 5-star hotel. There is a medium-size fitness room and pool with friendly staff, an over-priced snack lounge, a high-quality restaurant with a European chef, and at least one bar (which we didn't visit). The only drawback were that the room views are poor (they look out over a semi-industrial neighborhood) and the hotel is a little hard to find, with poor signage--at least in our opinion. The taxi driver didn't know where its entrance was and we had to look around on the street for about five minutes to find it (From the street, the Park Hyatt looks like an office building, not a hotel).

Best bathrooms yet
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/05
This hotel is a huge surprise given its location, wedged onto a busy corner in the heart of Seoul's south-of-the-river business district. Very elegant in design. The rooms are beautiful, muted, and very functional, with a round worktable, good seating, good lighting. The highlight is the bathroom(s) --a glassed-in shower and tub suite that you could spend hours in. Gym is pretty well-equipped and in a stunning setting on the next-to-top floor. Another amazing Asian hotel, in short...with some of the same flavor that makes the Park Hyatt in Tokyo such a treat.
