The Worst Travel Experience Award

The front desk made a mistake booking our rooms. Mistakes happen, but it is how they are handled. We checked in with our confirmation number at 10:30 am. They were waiting for a room to be cleaned. That evening we were told we did not have a room and that we had to go to a hotel in another city. We were told it would be complimentary. We received the bill when we got home along with 3 weeks of discussions. After they told us it was their fault and complimentary it is now we will give you points.
They are rude, uncaring and very unprofessional.
We travel on business and never have had this one of a kind experience.
