Beam Me Up Scotty!

If location is everything, then for air travelers, the Grand Hyatt DFW is all that! Newly opened (July 2005) in the gleaming international terminal D at Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport, the Grand is a Star-Trek-esque oasis in a bustling terminal. Rooms are sigh-beautiful and well appointed--even if some of them overlook the parking garage--and the deep, plush beds are downright narcotic. Service is everywhere all the time! If you don't have time for a stay (hint--some of the rooms have yet to be used by guests--mine was new!), slip into the sleek coffee bar/bar where the specialties are homemade lemon vodka and pear tequila. Food at adjoining cafe is noveau-great and served on white linen--be sure to sit at the bar to watch your own little mini flat screen TV! My new fave hotel in the DFW area!!
