Fabulous trip!

We had a fabulous time. We rented a 1 bedroom privately with a pullout sofa for the kids. Pool area with slide, steam room and 2 hot tubs a big hit. We overlooked the tennis courts and Mt Tremblant beyond. We saw 2 deer walking by the tennis courts on our first morning.
Condo very functional and nicely decorated with all appliances including laundry and bbq, linens, 2 tv's with cable. Fireplace lovely although not needed this time of year. There was a fresh mountain cross breeze when 2 patio doors opened and ceiling fan in bedroom. We first thought we would eat out, but ended up picking up groceries in St. Jovite and prepared all of our meals including packed picnic lunches and bbq's at condo. Kids had their first beaver tail in Mt Tremblant! Lots of food choices in restaurants in the towns and in Mt Tremblant, but we had all we needed.
Free shuttle came every 30 minutes - a bonus given that parking at base of Tremblant is $15 for the day. We came back mid days for swims and even though we were active, kids couldn't get enough of the water slide at the Cap Tremblant pool. It was busiest on the weekend at the pool. Blues festival was on at MT and things thinned out when it finished, but there was a great party atmosphere while it was on in the pedestrian village.
We did the pkg of 5 activities for 2 adults 2 kids (over $100), but it kept us busy for 3 days and was really good value. We did the canoing, cycling, luge, mini-golf and the gondola up the mountain and my youngest did the euro-bungy trampoline. We also did the easy hike, and this and the cycling by the river were beautiful. At cycle shop the staff were very patient to make sure bike size and style appropriate. Kids enjoyed playing the huge snakes and ladders game in the pedestrian village and loved the free cabriolet lift that takes you to the top of the village.
When we return, kids would want more luge, cycling, hiking and canoe time. A fall trip would be lovely too (we don't ski) and I can just picture us using that year round hot tub and fireplace. Hmmm....maybe a trip without the kids next time?
