Plantation Inn of New England, Chicopee

I have been staying at the Plantation Inn for several years when I go to the Brimfield Antique Show. It is 20 minutes away. The hotel is a good value, the rooms are clean with no bed bugs, they have free Wifi, contintental breakfast (not so great), the beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and accomodating. The negatives are the room walls are thin and the ice machines never have ice. There are good restaurants in the area. For my needs, this place is just fine.

We disliked everything about this hotel, except the housekeepers who did everything they could with what they have to work with. The carpet dates back to 1970s, the furniture was half broken, the tvs came in staticky, the bathroom was very outdated. You only get small bar of soap and no shampoo, you have to but at front desk. The pastries put out in morning with coffee tasted like they got them from day old bakery.I honestly would not recommend anyone staying at this hotel, unless your used to having a bad room. Also the rug was tore up in spots and iron marks on rug and wallpaper peeling away from wall.

We stay at the Plantation Inn every year during the Equine Affaire. Its fantastic. The people who work at the desk are very polite and helpful. The room is always clean. I have recommended it to my friends, and they too agree and always go back.

Dirty, smelly, and looked like a prison. The staff were very helpful though.

Accidently left a cell phone and got a call from front desk this morn. Really appreciate their care. The room was clean ,( windows and drapes could use some spring cleaning) other than that the rest of room clean, beds had new bedpad and clean linens. The cleaning staff polite and helpful. We were there 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. Thank You

The outside looked very run down and the pool was gross and unsafe.The room had mold in the carpet and dust on the furniture and the bathroom mirror looked like it was wiped over quickly with a dirty rag leaving it all smeared. If you want a nonsmoking room, you will be right next to a smoking room like we were. I think they just add the no smoking signs on the room door as they need them and take them off if they don't need them. It was weird to walk down the hallway and see 3 nonsmoking rooms and then 1 smoking then 1 non smoking then 2 smoking...all on the same side of the hallway..Weird and NASTY!

The place did not look like the picture on the internet. There was a lot of mold in the shower and on the bathroom ceiling. The rest of the room was ok for the price. The pool was not too bad when we stayed there. One good thing, there is a refrigerator in the room, but that's it. Make sure to bring your own shampoo, or else you will have to buy it from the front desk. Only soap is provided. The staff was very friendly, but I would most likely not stay there again. Great for truckers, but not for families or romance.

This place was entirely misleading we looked online to get the six flags deal and i guess you get what you pay for because it was gross the room had stains all over the comforter and the bathroom was really small the pool looked like it had been deserted i mean there was 4 broken umbrellas and 3 chairs and the pool water was brown and there was a shed that had recently been burned down my family actually had to leave because it was so gross and they wouldnt give us a refund so heres their tip The Board Of health Is Coming!

well went i first stayed there it was not so good but then i stayed in of there suites n it was awesome the whirlpool was heartshape very romantic the staff was very nice n the outside might not be that nice but the inside is beautiful

We were shocked when we pulled into the parking lot. The place looked very run down and not at all like the picture on the internet. There was also no cars in the parking lot. We were very nervous and discussed leaving. It ended up being okay, not alot of people and was very quite. We didn't take the kids in the pool, it did not look safe or clean. Only real upside was the room with the 6 Flags tickets, made it a good value for families.
