Plaza
The Plaza is a beautiful hotel, one of my first choices on a trip to New York. Upon entering into this decadent five-star hotel, you are immersed in luxury. From the gold accents to the immense chandelieres, this is a must for tourists. The rooms also keep the upscale theme going. The room we recieved at first was not to our expectations, but the staff gladly gave us a new room. The beds were very comfortable and the shampoo and conditioner that was provided was designer, Hermes. The view was dissapointing though, because all we could see from our window was another building.
The food at the main hotel restaurant was very delicious, probably one of my favorite meals while in New York. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. Contrary to the restaurant, the tea room had very impolite staff. We were seated right beside the kitchen and service took a very long time. The dessert I recieved was very good though.
Overall I enjoyed the Plaza. It is quite expensive, but a good price for this amount of luxury in central New York.
