Americas Best Value Inn, Anaheim

The hotel was clean enough. It was shabby, furniture stained and worn. Blankets were almost paper thin. Bed WAY too soft I could not get comfortable at all (and I usually dont mind soft beds). Worst part the smell. It was horrible. They must have "renovated" by painting over mildew. And then they cover up the mold smell with a god awful air freshener. Smelled like old lady's house and mothballs. Really nauseating. When we got home we had to wash all our clothes - even the stuff we did not wear and that were clean - because the smell of the room permeated everything. DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL! I know the price and convenience look good but it really was bad. We did not spend much time in the room but dreaded going back there every night. Would have switched hotels but Hubby threw a fit and did not want to move everything and hassle with switching. Please it is a vacation don't ruin your vacation by staying here.

As a young college student, I stayed at the Astoria Inn and Suites while traveling for the first time on my own. Overall, it's not bad, not spectacular. It's all what you make of it, and Astoria Inn and Suites made my trip to Disneyland with my boyfriend a comfortable and enjoyable one. My one complaint, however, is their "complimentary continental breakfast" is completely misleading. What it is is a tiny counter with coffee, toast and pastries. You may need to go around the corner to get a real breakfast. Other than that, I am planning on coming back within the next couple of months.
