Second Stay - Loved it!
In spring, the scent of flowering citrus greets you outside the gate. The grounds are impeccably maintained, privacy is top-notch, and the pool is beautiful. Plenty of places to sit under lemon, grapefruit, and lime trees - which are OK for picking.
I stayed here with my two daddies and there was a fenced in place for me to poop, a whole big yard with lots to explore, and wonderful men who adored me. Almost everyone ran around naked. I loved the hammock and the turtles, and the owners, Rob and Rick are very welcoming and gracious. They even squeezed fresh tangerine juice for us.
Morning coffee and rolls, nice rooms, and freshly made lemonade from the trees made it all great! I went hiking in the mountains - only a 15 min walk from the resort! Can't wait to go back. A puppy's paradise. Don't miss the Living Desert Zoo in Indio.
Be sure to eat at El Mirasol Mexican Restaurant, which is just down the street a short 10 min walk. This is a place to get away from the bar circuit/bass filled dance scene and soak up the sun and desert air. Bars are only a short 13 min walk away.
Best place and location in town.
