Will Always Stay At Idyllwild Inn

Since our trip was last minute and on a holiday weekend we were only able to get 1 night in a cabin, the other in one of their newer rooms. First of all I loved the location! Your right in the middle of "downtown" Idyllwild. We walked to lunch, dinner, and shopping everyday. There are a bunch of activities on the grounds like horseshoes and a play set.
While the cabins were much more romantic the rooms were warmer at night. Not much insulation in a log cabin built in the 20's.
The back of our room was next to a great coffee shop and a local wine store with wine tasting and an exceptional cheese and fruit platter.
After staying at the family owned Idyllwild Inn I would never stay anywhere else! Just bring an extra blanket, some warm socks, and walking shoes.
