Diamondjacks Casino Resort is an all mini-suite property with 24-hour casino action, four restaurants, and an RV park in close proximity to the many attractions of the Shreveport/Bossier area.In addition to the 24-hour casino, the hotel offers a complimentary fitness center with sauna, as well as a spa and a multi-level infinity pool. Onsite dining options include the buffet-style restaurant, steakhouse, a Mexican-style taqueria and 24-hour cafe featuring Starbucks coffee. Those traveling on business can take advantage of the 22,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center. Airport transportation and self parking are both offered complimentary.There are 565 guest rooms spanning 12 floors with interior corridors and elevators. Standard rooms, with at least 397 square feet of living space, contain one king bed or two queen beds, TV, a separate living area, and whirlpool tub. Room amenities include multi-line phones with voicemail and dataports, premium TV channels and pay movies, hairdryers, and coffee and tea makers.

I would not recommend until cleaned!!!

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. I will not stay here again. It is not worth the money. It smells like fish and the carpets are very dirty. We did not have hot water, so I could not use the whirlpool bath in the room to relax. We told the lady at the front desk and she didn't care. We asked housekeeping to bring more coffee and they never did. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, until they do some very dramatic updates inside. However, the Valet guys are awesome, they rock.

we go 3 times a year now for like 8 years now we love it there dont win much but have fun kids age 10 and 7 they love the pool and gameroom rooms our always clean we never pay to stay there it is always free

Don't bother

We stopped there for the buffet, very disappointed. $45 for three, and that was with water to drink. The choices was at best, average. Looking around it didn't look like they had changed anything from when it was the Isle of Capri. Peeling paint, same furniture as before, and as a little extra touch of class there is a tatoo parlor on the way to the casino. Until money is invested and badly needed changes are made, avoid this place.

Front Desk Staff....

I loved the stay till I get back home and they charged my bank account TWICE!!! and when I call to ask the lady that answered the phone told me it was my problem and I needed to contact me bank then hung up on me. She was very rude!!! I called to talk to a manager and she sent me to an admin. I wanted a MANAGER not an ADMIN!!! Will not go back!!!

WARNING: DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The AC was broken in our room. We had to call several times before they came to look at it. They told us it had been fixed but it was still extremely hot. We switched rooms at 5:00 am because we couldn't take it anymore only to find out that in our new room the toilet and TV were broken so we had to walk all the way down to the lobby to use the restroom. There were no towels in the room when we got there and we had to call 3 times before they would finally bring us any and our bed was broken. Then they forgot to clean our room. Not to mention the whole place stunk, was very dirty and old, and the customer service is awful. The whole experience ruined our vacation!

Needs Updating - Old Rooms

The Like: The drive up is nice, the front desk area isn't too shabby. The huge tub is also very nice. The Not So good: Rooms look like they are straight out of miami vice. Very outdated. TV's are not flat panel or even flat screen. Shower height is made for someone about 4 ft tall. In our king room, The huge bathtub is right next to the bed which is more than a bit awkward. The king bed was not comfortable and there's no free wifi (although it is offered for $10 a day). The restaurants inside the hotel are middle of the road at best. We did not have the buffet, but the fast casual and the room service we did have. This hotel was formerly the isle of capri property and has been renamed "diamond jacks" unfortunately, it doesn't appear that anything changed besides the name, no rennovations, same "bird theme" in the hotel. Our rate was in the low 60s on weekday and 135 on weekend through priceline.

this place sucks

Me and my wife stayed a night here on october 19 the room smelled like stale cigar smoke, blanket had a white semi crusty spot on it, floors had not been swept in the bathroom, and we still haven't gotten our deposit returned to us and its november 6 in fact we just left from there trying to dispute this and still nothing so its 45 mins back home for nothing thanks diamond jacks

Bring you own pillows

3rd time visit in 10 years; 1. Good value for the money 2. Large rooms with whirlpool; kept fairly clean and in fair repair 3. Nice bathroom 4. Bright room decor, but dated and worn: it's still 'Isle of Capri' over 10 yrs old. 5. Clean towels, clean sheets, good room amenities. 6. Reception staff is horrible; rude,lazy,uneducated and act like they are paying you to stay there. 7. Good buffet for the price. 8. Great perks. It's aparent the 'upper management' truly know what gamers like. 9. If you enjoy Black Jack; this is your place: The dealers are slow and can't count to 17. If you've played in Vegas, but won't drink alcohol at table: you can 'Double Jack and Coke' & double down here. 10. Mattresses and pillows are horrible. Be forewarned: Bring your own pillows.

i wouldn't stay here again

the tv in the bathroom didn't work. the bathroom floor was dirty. likely the room wasn't cleared. stains all over the carpets,chairs and couch. there was stains on the beds. housekeeping didn't give us fresh towels. the toilet ran all night the hotel smelled bad. the buffet had bad quality of food. i wouldn't stay here again.

Definately going back !

The price was unbelieveable! The rooms were large, but the air was not really circulating well. But, that's a small price to pay.The batheroom was an experience! The only thing that bothered me, wae s the staff acted like they were doing you a favor, instead of their job. The buffet was not really good, but the diner more than made up for it. (Kinda on the expensive side, though...) Got my players card, and will be going back !
